    Hi everyone,

First of all i want to say that i have stock engine with some mods:
    - 2.25" inlet pipe
    - K&N high flow air filter
    - Testpipe
    - BOV

mods to be done to support bigger turbo:
    - HPFP internals
    - 3" downpipe
    - 3.0 map sensor and harness
    - 3 ports boost controller
    - fmic intercooler
    - cobb accessport and custom tune
    - engine rear mount

My goal is to get around 330-340cv or the maximum power always with safety and without putting the engine integrity at risk.

So the question is: In my case which turbo should i go for?
    Any suggestions?
Bear in mind that I am not planning to build the engine in the future.

    Thanks in advance guys

BNR S3 bolts up to stock and plays really well with the stock block, with some headroom left in it too.

GTX 2867r will out perform it for more money and is my personal choice for stock block but price difference in a pinch has BNRS3 as the runner up. GTX2867r is good for up to 400hp with meth or e85 again, headroom on-top of the stock block if you did decide you wanted to build the block at some point.

With a good tuner, either of those turbos will make your car sing and stay within stock block limits don't forget you'll need a bigger intake as well.

I myself run stock block and don't want to build and when I turbo upgrade these 2 are at the top of my list with the same.mod as your end game except I plan to stay TMIC.

I love my Corksport turbo. I beta tested the original. Tons of miles, still a blast. Lots of improvements since then too.

I ran CST4 on my stock block and on e30, dyno'd at 375whp, it was a ton of fun. If budget isn't an issue then a Gen 2 GTX would probably be the ultimate, but you'll spend like twice as much total compared to BNR or CS

I am looking at a larger turbo for my stock internals. I’m not looking to build my engine right now either. I too will be staying TMIC, along with Awafrican.

Exactly how much better would a gtx2867 gen 2 be over a BNR S3? Trying to justify in my head the extra cost aside from making cooler noises lol.

would not spend that kind of money on a stock flange turbo, even if it is garrett. If staying stock flange id highly recommend just sticking with bnr or corksport

as for op, i wouldnt even consider an S2 tbh, just grab a Chris Ward k04 if you wanna replace it. either go s3 or cst4. cst4 is good for a lil more power.

Cant beat the price of S3, S4 or the even less spendy CST4. Also connecting to a top mount with these three is as easy as K04.

BNR S4 and ETS top mount intercooler it is. Plus, it’s easier to mess with fab wise.

On another note since the BNR S4 is 3.5” intake if you know anyone selling a HTP 3.5” aluminum intake I’m looking for one now!

Bnr S4 has more room if I build my engine some day. Worth it in my opinion. Plus, it spools a little later than the cst4 which means a little less stress on the rods.

I have had my CST4 for like 6 years. Pushing 350 hp no problems and nearly 70K. That's my take,

S4 is a good choice for leaving some room to grow, however your choice in tuner, the way you drive and the condition of your maintenance regime will have far more significance on internals longevity than the difference in when any of those turbos spool...If you want miles of smiles!
