    Curious intermittent vibes

Check the mounts? Maybe one is loose or the RMM might be damaged. I always had some vibes on neg. acceleration around 3k rpms and with the DM mounts it has gotten more noticeable. If it is not mechanical then hopefully the logs will find it.

What did you do to your ride today

Honestly, because I got to keep up with @LynzeC . That and this way if I zzb I can build and not have to buy a new turbo immediately to make use of the build. Besides I will get a lot more performance out of a S4 than a S3. 1-2% increased turbo speed per 1k feet of elevation, at 8500 ft that is...

    Valve Cover Breather

Well you may be able to just add a plate off of the existing one and get slightly longer screws. But if the screws fall out...

    Valve Cover Breather

Yeah I think the alluded fix was a new valve cover or welding in a plate similar to a gen two cover.

    Valve Cover Breather

So I talked to one of the guys at CFM Performance and he informed me that they make the the breather cap for Gen 2's and that they added a mesh screen inside of the check valve on the breather caps you gen one owners would have to use but that SP63 is working on some sort of "fix" for gen ones...

How to make "Custom Fit for Ford Mazda" Speakers Fit a Mazdaspeed 3

@5doorsoffury I did not want to change from oval speakers... someone convinced me of this before I bought anew. Looking back on it I totally would have knowing I could just buy a simple adapter. I definitely would use some other sort of vibration resistant material instead of 3M tape. The...

How to make "Custom Fit for Ford Mazda" Speakers Fit a Mazdaspeed 3

So... one day my father and I were cruising down I-25 blaring some 2 Chainz and one of my front speakers blew out. Mazda OEM speakers suck ass. What sucks even more ass is that the speakers I bought needed quite sizeable spacers to get them to fit without the windows hitting them when they roll...

What did you do to your ride today

Valve cleaning on 90k mile valves with EGR and no OCC. Finally installed an OCC and a @Maisonvi EGR delete kit I got well over a year ago... This weekend I will hopefully get the DM PMM and TMM installed. Also changed out wheels on my dads speed6 since we found one of his Miro 111's were...

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

I think the mile high Mazdaspeed quarter mile time you set was just broken last night... 12.5 iirc from Abdul. I cannot wait to see what the new motor can do. Is the limited ability to spool a turbo caused by the manifold design? The integrated or whatever they call it.

    Let's talk SS brake lines

I used a regular wrench to do mine. Did not know that was not recommended.

    Let's talk SS brake lines

Man, this was one of the easiest things I did on my speed. I had more issues replacing the rear pads since the caliper tool I rented did not fit the small caliper grooves. I am glad I got my speed out of MI after just one winter.
