Yea I’ve unfortunately seen it on 2 other gen pu, welding it won’t hold, the whole assembly has to be replaced. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Welding it is only a temp solution, it’ll hold for a bit but eventually it does break down.

This is not the first time I have seen this. I’d suggest fixing that ASAP.

You can use the ecoBoost mustang oil pump with no issues at all and it costs about $60. Just some food for thought. EDIT: reading fail on my part. Just realized that was mentioned above.

I just find it funny this guy spent all this money and wasted all our time having us research for him since he didn’t do a damn thing to research for a “proper build” and yet he damn near double the required clearance for a 4032 piston. Can’t fix stupid haha.
