    Rebuild - Info

I mean shit even 2618 pistons don’t call for that much clearance. Manley and wiseco Pistons with 2618 material call for .0035 at the MOST. That build won’t last very long haha. In b4 ZZB.

Jesus that build is fucked if the clearance is .0045 with a 4032 piston lol.

    Wheel Spacers

To my knowledge I believe it’s pretty standard for spacers that big to have studs, I don’t believe you’re going to find them without. Your best bet is probably to punch out your extended studs.

    Pesky Cylinder 2 Misfire

I would definitely replace them all. The others are probably on the way out anyway. Upgrade to the CS seals.

    Pesky Cylinder 2 Misfire

But do you have a seal? It’s pretty easy to pull the injectors, unless they’re stuck which is possible. Then it’s a nightmare. I’d get the little injector tool that cpe makes before attempting to remove them. But do you have a seal? It’s pretty easy to pull the injectors, unless they’re stuck...

The essential "save your ass bag" thread

I completely agree. Hence why I said war makes us realize they’re good. I think tourniquets are a life saver personally, just look at all the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan that were saved by them.

The essential "save your ass bag" thread

I always find tourniquets funny being in the paramedic field. They go from being bad and we shouldn’t use them, then war happens and we realize hey these are pretty good so we start using them again. Then the cycle continues.

    Rod and Piston combo question

You’re correct on that, but some pistons require a certain hone in the cylinder in order for the rings to seat correctly during break in. Plus even though the cylinder may be in spec, the factory hone is going to be worn just due to simple operation of the motor, now with great maintenance the...

    Rod and Piston combo question

You’re a man of risk I see. My motor is very well maintained, and I would never be silly and do a pop and drop and expect that to last anywhere near 20k miles.

    Rod and Piston combo question

Manley recommends not balancing their rods. And it’s never a smart idea to put forged pistons and rods into the motor without machine Work. You’re just asking for a bad time.
