    Engine MZR3 install

I had it on that turbo when I exchanged it between two different 6's. Look at your favorite turbo web site and look at water block to turbo center water cooling options. It's generic for just about all other than OEM turbo housings.

[SOLVED] 130mA Parasitic drain related to ROOM and BTN fuses

In my case. I had a sneak current draw too. My 07 speed 3 was a Bose system. I also did circuit by circuit check of PJB and it was interior common circuit. Which goes all over. Figured same results.. Replacement? Not cheap and junkyard would have to find exact build sheet options...just gave up...

[SOLVED] 130mA Parasitic drain related to ROOM and BTN fuses

Passenger Junction Block is (at least my 07 & 08) behind and below the glove box. The fuses you are looking at feed the PJB. Metal Membership is a great investment for the manuals. The PJB might be your troubles, and good electrical diagrams are a must for your year model. I am not sure when the...

    CEL b1317, and p2504.

Glad to hear you found a problem part. Make sure since the fault and evidence of failure means high currents were involved. Things that melt are not a good indicator --- sometimes it's also something else. The fuses in the high current battery wire from the alt +batt connection to fuse box and...

    CEL b1317, and p2504.

When the engine was replaced did they remove the front crash bar, radiator mounting, and remove motor from front or drop from above? The Sixers wire loom for the alternator goes from left vender all the way over to the right side so alternator is connected. That harness can be pia since the...

[SOLVED] New Eonon M3BKA12 no audio on 07 Mazdaspeed 3 with Bose

If you have a mpg/miles option on on the clock display panel it was for that function. When I moved the smaller display on to my older Eonon unit. That's why my clock will not reset or adjust the buttons were on the OEM faceplate. Also can't use the mpg/miles to go display.. that display has...

    Is p0012 a deal breaker

If your bio is correct for location North East USA. Daily driver in ice and snow...you are a brave soldier. I have to completely agree, please have a DD. At least be prepared with Tow Coverage, and forgiveness from your employer. I bought two speed 6's (16k + the mods) to get one great one, I'm...

    Raider's Neverending love/hate with Christine

My surprise when I changed mine out after I moved into the CA gold country foothills...Mouse had taken underhood sound blanket material and made a ball/nest so large the filters were stuck in place. Even locked up squirrel cage fan and motor fuse had blown. Oddly the one that blew is a small...

Need some advice on hid head lights

As Raider said, switch bulbs and see if that's the issue. Your bio doesn't list year of your Mz3 so depending on gen 1 or later. HID bulbs are same but ballast and or ignitor are different. After you try bulb exchange and find out status. If bulb change doesn't work, then the supporting ignitor...

    Radiator options

Likely you have ordered it already. My rock auto speed 6 radiator did fit as OEM. My issue was my fan shroud had different ears on bottom "slip into socket" so had to modify my shroud to fit new radiator sockets. AC condenser was fine, was just the shroud.

    Blown engine

As I found this in mine. No big end rod bearing, rod had large amount of rod and crankshaft journal destruction. Of course the bearing shells don't dissolve, just become things found in bottom of oil pan. This was supposed to have been a short run with low oil. Nothing to trust once you find...

    Engine MZR3 install

Normally I would point out that the Greatest benefit of a Metal Membership is the Mazda Manuals in the Metal Membership area. So here's a example of the great buried or sprinkled Data throughout the 100's pages of information. To answer your question on lower motor/trans mount NO! Its designed...

I am absolutely happy with my tune. Was a pleasure to communicate my needs and desires for my Speed 6. Drove it yesterday and again I am impressed by the throttle feel and overall driveability. My software base is VersaTune and worked great with their expertise.

    Engine MZR3 install

As much as you can and still fit on a straight shot in. My mounts are different, so ignore that. The ones that bit me were. Cooling shroud on alternator. Back differential fill before install, install stub axle on motor then fill with transmission/transfer case installed on block. Water pipe for...

    Help getting serpentine belt on…

If you use a tensioner pulley other than oem. Example rockauto has many styles. Plastic or metal pulleys and belts lengths sometimes don't match up on cross reference. I had one belt 5 mm shorter... finally did same and returned old one to service. Found looking at my spares I have 3 different...

    Oil Consumption question

Balance shaft deleted? If so it's important to measure oil dip stick methods with the same consistency. Then you can get a handle on amount vs miles. My two deleted balance shaft motors with same components. Well one is OEM bore other is +0.5 mm over. I check dip stick and the level I use is the...

[SOLVED] Fuel inside intake manifold from tuning ?

Yes. If you decide I would get the complete kit. Now your question to yourself is how far you are going to go to correct this. Honestly I would--> Change oil. Correct heat range plugs. Clean intake using solvent in a big container. A lot of fluid has to go into it and just trying to dump into...
