Unless you can apply a known amount of vacuum or pressure, it only means sensor is sending a signal and wiring to ECU is reading it. You still haven't proven if sensor type or tuner feedback on scaling values is correct. Now that you are asking about rpm / fueling troubles...you had better look...

Your talking about this one? I used a huge socket that just fit at outer edge. You might find something else, like a ball joint puller "cup" anything just on outside edge OD. Also the seal edge on transmission case has a angle edge to guide seal, so need something that is NO larger than seal OD...
