    Aux fan controller

Old notes are old... It took me forever to get the temp right, turns out the enclosed instructions for tuning the pots were wrong for off temp. Made my notes, adjusted accordingly, and it worked great for like 3 years before I removed it. Gotta throw it back on...

    Aux fan controller

My 2nd hand unit worked fine. Tuning it was tricky as the SP63 instructions were backwards. I took mine off though for reasons, desperately need to put it back on.

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

I already have a check valve in line with the OEM PCV valve. Do you have a part number for this pump? I'll look into it. I'd be interested if it saves me snaking OCC lines everywhere.

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

Had a chance to work on the speed yesterday. Got the oil changed, slapped my ETS TMIC back on (I had been rolling with the OEM since the accident), threw on my heavy knob and corksport steering wheel again. The little things make it feel like a real car again. One thing I did, was add extra...

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

Today I was going through my mess of a garage. I have been trying to reorganize it to make it easier to work in. I found so much stuff!!!! Aquamist kit, poly bushings, gauges, so much excite! I threw out a bunch of trash I had been holding on to. Including my old clutch and flywheel. Fun...

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

That's how it was for me. I called for months to no avail. No Dr's were taking new patients, or they wouldn't get back to me. It wasn't until I called a suicide hotline that I got anywhere and sent to a county funded clinic. I feel for you, it sucks bro, but there is a better tomorrow. I...

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

Shit..... I miss this place. Been out of sorts for a while. The Pu needs restoration work. Having a mental health breakdown and then trying to get help for it over the last year and a half has left me rather lethargic for a while. Looking to get back into it. One thing I realized after the...

    Brass shift pads

IIRC someone tried an epoxy to install them and had success. I just can't remember who it was. Maybe @JohnnyTightlips ?

    100% e85 black death

IIRC, 50% or less is the most you can go, and you needed to dump sl1 fuel system cleaner in the tank and HPFP every once in a while.

    my 96 ford bronco

How are the dual shocks up front? Recently got hold of a 1993 f250 with TTB in the front. Was reading up and considering dual front shocks, since front sway bar options are limited for TTB.

What to expect from aftermarket TMIC to Tr8 FMIC

I was born in Rio Piedras, but it's been 20 years since I last visited the island. Here is one of the gaskets, link , it's a softer material that seals tighter than the hard PTFE material JBR uses. They make gaskets for the BPV and Intake manifold too. As for sealing the front end, I talk a...

What to expect from aftermarket TMIC to Tr8 FMIC

Hey @Speed777 By the sounds of it, I think a TMIC is still going to be your best best. However I say this with only the ETS or CPE cores in mind. The reason being is they have plates on them that seal the hood tight, which improves flow through the core instead of letting air leak around...

    Lower control arm bushing replacement

Not sure where you got the idea to freeze the bushing, but I would probably try it too if I were in your shoes. Warm up the bushing. You need that thing just soft enough to flex, but not enough to tear. Use a hair dryer or heat gun and have a lot of patience. Then hit everything with soapy...

    Lower control arm bushing replacement

May sound stupid, but have you tried some soapy water? Thinner and slippery as grease, and it evaporates. Are those OEM shells, or aftermarket?
