    Neganox's Cats Can't Drive v2.0 Build

Nice! Long overdue, so I know you're stoked. Who is going to tune it?

    Issue connecting battery

The shop fucked something up with the power cables. I've never experienced this, but have friends who have had this happen on other cars. Follow your grounds, and follow the hot cables. Make sure they didn't hook up a hot cable like a ground, or a ground to where a hot cable should be (fuse...

    Raider's Neverending love/hate with Christine

It's about time once of us goes built. I know you have a bunch, but if you need any spare parts that you don't find in your attic let me know. Might even have a BSD kit, but I know you always said you wanted to keep the balance shaft.

    Big Turbo Reliability

No Yes Potentially You are not wrong in your assumption, however both scenarios translate to different throttle response. You need to figure out what your goals are long term. What I mean is long term support mods, and goals for the car. If you will never track it, and only daily drive it...

    Big Turbo Reliability

I guess I can drop in... I have a BNR S4 v3. Been on the car since Dec 2018, about 45k miles now, 90k miles on original OEM engine, tuned by Rob @ Hypnotic at the time. I was on the fence between the BNR s4, Garrett 3067, and even the efr 7163. For my own reasons went with S4. Lag over k04...

Effects of high eth content on fuel level sensor

IIRC the few guys on MSF that beat this issue, did it by just soldering all the connectors together. Some kind of resistance that caused the corrosion. Back then my buddies with Relentless Customs tried some epoxy that worked for civic guys or something like that. The epoxy was expensive and...

    Tranny wouldn't go into gear!

An improperly bled slave can do all sorts of funny things. You have a twin disc clutch, so you may not necessarily have text book symptoms. Anywho, yes rebleed your clutch system because its cheap and not hard. Great first step in troubleshooting. I made my own pneumatic bleeder, so no tips...

    Tranny wouldn't go into gear!

Rebleed the slave before you panic. Most shops suck at bleeding hydraulic systems.

[SOLVED] Oil drain leak after CTS4 Instal

Not to dismiss your efforts by any means, but you really shouldnt have to have such a struggle. One of the surfaces has to be off deck, or something else to that effect. Especially since you confirmed no obvious damage to the existing gaskets and didnt mix up the bolts. The only other thing...

[SOLVED] Oil drain leak after CTS4 Instal

IIRC the bolts from the engine side, and the turbo flange look similar, but one set is ever so slightly longer. Once upon a time it was common to hear of people mixing up one of those bolts and developing a leak at the turbo.

    Raider's Neverending love/hate with Christine

@Raider i just ordered parts to do the same shit on my Pu. Been pissing Ford Jizz for a bit. Tasca said national back order on bearings, but seals are plentiful along with the whole plate assembly with everything in it. Luckily not the end of the world.

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

Thought about it, amongst other scenarios. But I am done with other people touching the speed and having to deal with a rental. Also done with Geico... Dumbfucks down here couldn't repair a car properly if their lives depended on it. I dont want to get into all the shit I have found plugged...

Penguin Mobile: "Jesus Built my Hotrod"

No, but not for lack of desire. After doing the hood vents last year, I ran into some long term durability issues with the foam seals I used. That prevented me from being able to take the measurements I wanted. Plus we bought a house shortly after. Goddamn house... I collided with someone...

    FMIC and Coolant Temps

I did a lot of measuring on the engine bay and how air pressure builds up in our cars. Anything over 40mph and you start building engine bay air pressure, which starts lifting the nose of the car the faster you go. I bet when you go to take datalogs, your steering wheel gets super light to the...

    Steering Rack

Your mechanic is a fool, unless he meant when the tie rod boots are sealed. I've replaced the inners in our steering rack twice, and the grease always softens with use/mileage. For a front end clunk, check your.... Ball joints CV axles Front endlinks Front sway bar bushings Control arm...

    Steering Rack

It is normal. The ball socket on the inner tie rod has grease packed into it (as does the outer inside the boot). Sometimes you may notice a little leak out when servicing it.

    KW Coilover Rear Height Adjustment

+1 for the spring perch. The 3 allen bolts thay secure the plate need to aleays stay tight. If you are having issues adjusting the rear, hit the spring perch underneath the spring with some PB blaster, as the spring probably had crud on it. If that doesnt work, lift the rear and then adjust...
