Greetings Speed Family,

I purchased my Speed6 as a second car in 2019 with 170k miles, we’re now sitting happily @ 226k miles.

Funny story behind the car, this was a police impound and was purchased by someone who completed a Lien Sale with the impound yard.

Purchased for $3850 by me

Salvage Title (Small Fender Bender)
Needed some TLC, ran excellent.
Compression Test 170+\- across all cylinders.
New Clutch

Why did it take me so long to join the forum?
Dunno.

My hobbies? I enjoy driving my 6 anywhere and everywhere.

It’s primarily stock with the exception of the exhaust (CorkSport 81MM + Downpipe and RacePipe resonator)
CorkSport Stage 2 Intake Cobb Tune, etc etc…

This is the craziest car ever made, especially because of its sleeper profile. I went head to head with an Audi R8 V10 in Beverly Hills, he was shocked to say the least.

I’ve been ghosted by 3 shops requesting a quote to perform VVT on my speed.

Do you have any recommendations of Mechanics, or a shop familiar with Speeds to perform a VVT Job?

I no longer have a garage to perform the work myself, so I’m looking for someone in the community.

I appreciate any help, this is a pressing issue, as you know VVT maintenance is crucial.
