Afr and lambda issue i guess after little upgrades..

Hy to everyone im new and fron Italy, probably the only one to have a speed 3 in my country , i decide to ask here if someone can help me with a big issue that im having right now, it started when i decided to install a cst 4 turbo, a short ram intake, an hpfp kit , new pcv, new sparkplugs , new coil, new maf original new map 3.5 bar, new boost control solenoid, nee relief valve original. I clean all the intake valves , and for last i install a catless downpipe .. ididn t put any tune on it at the moment, because the ecu is lock from a previous owner custom tune so it doesnt let me install the accessport , so i tried to turn it one because i wanted to let her stay just idle because it was 2 month that was off, but the car barely stay at idle and rough, and it stall almost immediately if i don t kick the throttle a bit, then it stabilized a bit but run very rough, before the job was idlening pretty good.. i connect to Forscan for ch3ck all the data and i did som log, with the maf unplagged i was noticing the car runs a bit smoothly , i wanna remember that i know i need a tune but i was telling myself the car has to stay idle pretty normally even without a tune, at the end of the day the only thing inreplace is the turbo and u know it doesnt effect the idleing, i put back also a fresh new hpfp original from japan because i tough o messed with the modified one , but no same issue , car stall at idle , and seems to runs pretty rich, poor combustion , from forscan i notice the afr and lambda are at twice the normal , if i diconnect the maf they tried to come back to normal value of one to one, and lambda of 14... if i plug back the maf the value comes back to 29 , pretty weird .. im gonna post the pictures later if someone can help me.. i check all the cables, and the grounds seems ok .. thanks again for any reply
 
you need to tune it dude it won't run eh that big maf diameter on the new intake and new map sensor without it.

you should just be able to flash a new tune with an unmarried access port no problem. you'll want a custom tune from freektune or purpledrank to handle the map and intake diameter. or versatune if you want to do it yourself.
you said it wouldn't let you install the access port? what exactly is the screen saying when you plug it in KOEO?
 
Accessport cant not communicate with the ecu, the only things that does is read dtc error , but Forscan and Verstatune (free) worked so i was be able to get some data , with the maf plugged in and the original map , at idle these are thebresultts, not sure of the idle because ibwas revving just a bit for check , we are talking of 2k rpm or max 2.5, look at the crazy afr is reading at idle, and crazy lambda at 29.. but the car ecu didnt gave me any error light

the access port you bought new unmarried correct? if so you may be able to get Mazda to reflash your ecu for you so you can marry it but it should work. the other option is sending the ecu and access port to cobb.


if versatune is letting you collect data I would be inclined to sell the access port and and swap to versa tune as your tuning solution. you need to get a map and MAF cal on that ecu for your mods or you're not running
 
Im going to check if my ecu is locked with the Versatune tool , if not im gonna contact Freektune, but what is weird for me , right now the only upgrade thing is the cst 4 turbo and a short ram intake not the one that goes in the turbo inlet and the maf and map are original at the moment and the car wont stay at idle?? With that weird afr at 2?? Thats is what is werid to me , because for my experience the idle is not relate with the upgrade turbo because theres no boost. And the intake is just a bit more airy with all original sensor..

FORScan with a subscription should allow you to do a factory reflash yourself.. It's been a long time since I've done it so I can't guide you on the process. This will erase what ever tune might be on it and let you start from scratch..
