    What's Up y'all,

I just picked up a 2007 Speed and I have a littel experience with modified cars in the past. Had a pretty quick Forester XT years ago. Before that had a couple of hondas. Wanted something fun to tool around in on weekends.

Like many new owners I have ALLL the questions regarding fitment and mods and things like that so I will be diving into the forums to try to find answers asap.

Also if anyone can point me in the direction of a shop/tuner in the ft myers area that works on speeds that would be great!

looking to get a good mechanical rundown of what I have so I can build on a solid base. Looking to keep this car awhile and would like to start the maintenance schedule properly.

    Thanks for reading!

Don't know of any shops in that area as I'm notocal hopefully someone else chimes in there.
As for tuners the only two I'd ever let touch my car is freektune or purple drank Justin and will respectively are amazing, they can engine remote dyno tune you no problem

I have heard those names come up a bunch. I will keep them in mind. Really i Just want a motor teardown and get a good feel for what i bought. It has been sitting for a while but i got a great deal on my 07 so iI budgeted to do a bunch of stuff myself. rather than buying someone elses FBO for 2-3x as much

Could start with a compression test and leak test to see how she's doing vs a full tear down. What's the mileage? Has the timing been serviced if 100k+ miles

128k. Previous owner said he wasn’t sure. I was planning to tackle that and possibly injectors first. Figured do that while the budget supports and go faster bits later down the road.
