You can also roll the car forward and backwards on neutral, that will give you an idea if the transmission is good. If it rolls then transmission is fine.

Turn the engine by hand. Also I doubt you can bend a valve or hit a piston. I don’t think you have more torque than an engine can produce lol. If it stops turning then that’s a problem.

So your car died on you correct? If anything I would try by tighten the crank bolt up and then try to spin the engine by hand. If it turns freely then you can rule out the engine.
