Hey all, has anyone else had this issue? Infotainment screen was on and working fine, stopped for gas and shut the car off and once I restarted the screen just stayed blank. It has power as the buttons are illuminated but the damn thing wont load.
Thoughts?
I'm gonna pull the unit or...
Just an update. Went through over the weekend and double checked all bolts to retorqued if needed. Front end links were a tad loose. All is well now, no noise.
Going in next week for an alignment and corner balance.
My rear rebound adjustment extensions from KW should arrive tomorrow as well.
More of a clunking, which leads me to think it's time to retighten the end links. Hard to say really what else i hear. It's obviously got some knocking noise over stock.
Another good thing is that my rebound adjustment extensions for the rear should be here this weekend from KW, so I can put all...
Sorry I keep bugging you @Mauro_Penguin lol! But you're one of the only people I know if running the same setup as me. Do you notice a decent bit of low speed noise with the KWs on the CS camber plates? It's not all the time, just on bumps and rough roads really. Need to check my end links again...
Pardon my ignorance, but replacing springs on this setup.... What size springs are needed and where do you typically go for them.
For future reference.
Got it. Finally got everything buttoned up and done this weekend. Got ride height set and my adjustable end links on. Feels great so far. Ready for my alignment and corner balance.
@Mauro_Penguin , one last question I thought of. On the front KW shock, there was a small metal washer at the top of the shaft. I ditched this as it seemed if was preventing the CS camber plate to seat correctly. Was this what you did as well? Or was that little washer needed?
I appreciate your honesty on my setup. I ended up with the KWs because I got them for all of $900 from KW during a sale. I'm sure there will be a learning curve and they're probably not perfect and I'm ok with that. I've got to start somewhere. I'm not looking to win Nationals or anything, just...
Ok, thanks for the info. I'll give the vice/rag tip a try as I've received that advice from a couple others too. And I did remember your comments regarding the purple washer haha
Thanks for your help
Hey @Mauro_Penguin , when installing the KWs with the corksport camber plates, how were you able to tighten the pillow ball nut enough? The shock shaft just spins and there's no way to get a wrench on the top to hold it in place. How did you get it done?
I'm installing my KW V3 coils this weekend paired up with Corksport Camber plates and SPC rear camber arms.
I'm trying to get a feel for what your preferences have been regarding Rebound/Compression settings for F/R after some experience at events. I know the instructions give you a "starting...
You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you! Been trying to figure out what the shit I'm going to need for this all over the place. So if using CS camber plates I need nothing from the front stock suspension, just use what came in the box from KW, minus their Teflon spacer. Fantastic.
And...
Coilovers and the Corksport Camber plates, and from what I can tell I need to use the stock bushing, right? Or is there more that gets used from the stock parts?
From the attached, what are parts 1 & 2? If I don't want to pull my stock stuff apart, can I just order them?
Bumping this thread. I've got a set of KW V3's sitting in my garage and plan on using CS camber plates. Can ya'll post pics of how they should be put together correctly?
Also, I want to keep my stock suspension intact (meaning I don't want to take it apart). Any clue which part I need to order...
