So did you want to swap out the head unit also? For subwoofers, a few companies make powered subs that will fit in the spare tire. Not direct replacements but they should work.

Yea this is auto... I can't think of anything else that would be the reason (no blown fuses, etc) so I may just buy the resistor and hope it works. :|

So I went for a ride today and realized that my blower is no longer working at all. I am hoping this is the resistor, but this is a great post - thank you.
