removing the differential pinion gear nut?

Well yes i could replace the whole thing for another used one but i could fall into one that is worst than mine too. i prefer to rebuild it. This weekend i will make some try out. i though about using the clutch module as an adapter. I could power the clutch solenoid to lock it up and make a...

removing the differential pinion gear nut?

sure i will, long story short, the ms3 burned after the occ froze at -30 celcius and the oil spreaded on the turbo manifold. I replaced the car by a 2007 speed6...

removing the differential pinion gear nut?

not the axle nut against the wheel bearing. I opened my speed6 rear differential to replace the 4x inner bearing. i can remove the 2 side ones but the 2 others on the pignon gear shaft are retained by a 46mm nut and the shop manual says to use Mazda tool (49 L027 006) and (49 L027 007) to...

removing the differential pinion gear nut?

im trying to rebuild my differential that ran low in oil and started to make a wining noise. Im trying to figure out a way to remove the 46mm nut without using the Mazda oem tool to hold the shaft splines. Do any of you have ideas or did it by another mean ? i thought about putting back the...

Anyone tried OBDLink MX+ or the like?

i own the green model, don't remember if it is a LX or MX but the cheaper one that just read engine ecu. It work a lot better than a chineese elm327 and it is just a tiny bit faster than the chineese. But it always connect at first try and just that worth the price paid. I just use it to...

a backup release valve is a good option, not doing it cost me a whole car in 2016 when it froze and the oil spill catched fire

    Mastermind's Build

Sorry to revive an old thread but can someone confirm if we need a special Ford manifold version or part # from a 2.0l focus ST or if it can be from any ecoboost 4 cyl. ? FWD? I checked Dammond website without success. I found that part # DM5Z9424A but not sure if this would work...

    Devils Own WMI kit question

In my case, i just have 91 in my area and no ethanol either so i benefit from the octane boost of the mix. Injecting meth only when needed, remain cheaper for me because i daily drive it most of the time and i'm not often under boost....I sometimes boost below 3k by reflex to follow the traffic...

    Devils Own WMI kit question

i also read we should not get more than 10% water vs the total amount of fuel...So a 50/50mix for a 500cc jet is just fine on our engine but 500cc of water from a 1000cc jet may not be as fun...I calculated for my case a 70/30 (300cc of water) would make the 10% ration if i add the stock fuel...

    Devils Own WMI kit question

The only real bad beside possibility of wasting some meth, is with a large jet: You cannot synchronise the boost point where it flow with your MAF cal. to reduce the g/s that drive the stock injectors for the added fuel/meth. But the wideband work so well on these cars that for a cooling jet, it...

    Devils Own WMI kit question

my AEM stage2 on boost control worked fine for many years on a k04 or gt28. They commonly work on controlling the negative return of the pump exept xome specific ones. But you can connect an added relay or a solenoid valve to make sure it won't leak while you aren't under boost. (Or when the...

Devil's Own kit keeps killing progressive controller

i use to run an AEM for manny years under hard north winter conditions. I expect that they probably use the same pump with a different sticker and pressure for each brand. Yes these progressive controller need to be well grounded to supply the pump. The positive of the controller don't need as...

Ebay RESPONS TMS GFB Dual Port BOV - "EFB"

Under boost, i agree that it is exactly the same for a BPV or BOV. But a thing is missing in your exemple. Under boost it is not the spring that keep the valve close but the spring+the boost pressure. So if your turbo discharge is at 22psi, you may have the intake at 20-21psi right ? So on the...

Ebay RESPONS TMS GFB Dual Port BOV - "EFB"

I may be wrong but my understanding is that minimum spring pressure to keep it close under WOT would be just a little more than pressure lost into the IC. The top, where is the spring, is filled by intake pressure so both push against the turbo pressure to keep it closed, not just the spring.
