    Vdyno , Mods and Logs

Never could get a good vdyno chart because of loss of traction. Couldn’t get a full dyno run for the same reason but it still made 675 on a Dynojet. Gen 1 MS3, Built block with Manley pistons and rods, jmf v2 , CS exhaust manifold , CS 3.5” tbe, CS cst6 turbo, CS 4” intake, sp63 stg3 cams...

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Yes I personally wouldn’t worry about it at all but if you are concerned then just upgrade the rod bolts.

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Been busy so I haven’t been online much. Figured I’d post an update. Car is up and running good but didn’t make the 700hp goal. It’s my daily when the weather isn’t shit. Dyno ended up being 675/540 so I’m happy with that. Traction is my problem I have to fix now. Overall I love the setup

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Damn I guess I forgot to update this like I wanted to. Car is back together and running. Working thru the tuning process. I still need to finish up the wiring and clean up the engine bay. Most of the wiring is wrapped up and tucked wherever I could fit it u til I knew everything was going to...

Hole in the very bottom of the coolant tank

Thank You. I know what it’s for I was just wondering if something goes in the hole to drain somewhere. Mine drains right on to the frame rail. Thought maybe there was an insert or something that would direct the antifreeze to drain somewhere else

Hole in the very bottom of the coolant tank

I have 2 coolant tanks for gen1 and they both have a hole in the very bottom of the reservoir tank. It’s a factory hole but what goes in there? I’ve never noticed it before but I don’t think I’ve ever had one off until now. I’m talking about the overflow hole just to be clear.

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Once again I didn’t get the motor put in or finished last weekend. Cam spec sheet called for .014ex and .012in clearance. I didn’t have enough shims to set them exactly to those specs so I called to see if there was any variance like +/- .001 and they informed me they set them up to factory...

    '06 MS6 all out build

I’ve had pretty good luck with my Xclutch. I put about 1000 miles on it before I started running it real hard and it was around 1500 miles before I started flat foot shifting it. I’m not at your power level but mine has worked good so far

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Finished the orings today. Only time consuming thing I have left is setting the valve lash for the new cams and maybe freshen up the valve job. Going to check the valves tomorrow to see if any are leaking. Hoping to get this stuff done Friday night and assemble the engine Saturday morning. Swap...

    '06 MS6 all out build

Hell yeah man! The excitement has to be killing ya. I’m really hoping to get the engine swapped in my 3 this weekend. Then I will start fixing a few things on the 6 that need done

Shooting for that 700hp stock flange

Thanks. I have machines that can clean all that but I try to leave it as stock “190,000 mile” as possible. It gets ran thru the tank to remove oil and grease and anything in the oiling or water jackets. All the gasket surfaces get cleaned and internals but everything else on the outside I keep...

Got my block cut today for the orings and 2 of the orings installed. And that’s about it. Lol. Really hoping to have everything done and ready to install this weekend.
