Will snap some pics to make it more clear. This is the current setup. (pic attached)
Was talking about taking off the line routing to intake from EBC and running that to a bung on the turbo/tmic coupler from the EBC. All good though. Think I just found the inlet...
I confirmed it was definitely hooked up to the HTP intake just before the turbo. Here's another question for ya...not seeing a barb/line to hook the boost source up to on the turbo. Can I just buy a silicone coupler with a bung (the coupler that connects my turbo to the TMIC) and route my boost...
It's possible your timing chain is stretched or VVT is sticky and your valves are slightly open. Also, throttle has to blocked wide open or it cant get proper air. Might have to do a leakdown test to know for sure.
I sure will. Quick question on my 3 port routing. My boost source line (from the EBC) is currently plugged into my HTP intake by the turbo. Most diagrams I have seen show it directly plugged into the turbo. I just wanted to make sure this would be ok for the data logs/boost readings and not...
I definitely recommend Justin at freektune. This is solid advice. Keep the TMIC and other parts. Just fix the exhaust. You want air flow and you want it cold. All that adds up to better gas mileage on a proper tune. It will help your car not hurt it.
For the HPFP...if it is upgraded that is a...
Holy mother of god. I just got my base map in and took my first test drive. Completely different car. It's scary now and 10x more responsive :p Justin IS the fucking man. Worth every penny plus a tip. I cant imagine once revisions are done how it is going to drive. It's already near perfect...
It connects to the TMIC/throttle body coupler. Also, confirmation on the HPFP internals...they are autotech. Woohoo! Sent my etune order in today with my mod list. Now to patiently waiting on my base map :)
Good to know. I was just going off of what both damond and jbr said about their 3.5 inch:
"This is a non-recirc intake, where a blow-off-valve (BOV) is required. We offer a TurboSmart BOV here. May not fit with some FMIC hot piping."
