What do you mean by the back is quite bouncy? Do you think the Bilstein's caused the bounciness?

I would loosen your lower shock bolt which sits in the control arm bushing. Then, with the weight of the car on some ramps, tighten it back up. You could have not tightened the lower bushing with the weight of the car so the preload is not set properly and causing the high ride height. I think...
