Not sure what the difference is or if truly compatible.
Need to change the seal on the VVT solenoid, so the valve cover gasket also getting changed even though its not leaking.
Anything other seals I should replace while Im in there?
Ya but the OEM lasted 175k miles and 20 years. Will DAYCOs or whoever do that? Maybe. Too important when Im 5 hours from home to want to worry about it.
Car was making crazy noises when engine was cold...rattling from serpentine belt area. Use stethoscope and seemed to be the belt tensioner with 175k miles on it.
I paid for the very expensive OEM unit part #LF17-15-980E.
I don't trust aftermarket for such a critical part.

The part on the valve cover next to the oil fill cap is leaking. I think its VVT solenoid's oil seal L3K9-10-2D5A?
Can anyone confirm?

ok well...so you put off the job. At least you have parts for the carrier bearing. I drove 460 miles this weekend with a screaming pulley bearing...its chattering like crazy. I was terrified it would seize and shred the belt. I think its the alternator bearings.
Good idea. I think I rough sanded both the outside of the bearing and the shaft to get a good bite. But hey yours might not even be loose.
yes G560-25-744 worked for my gen 1
