aceleration according to newtons 2nd law equals force divided by mass, if we reduce the weight by lets say 10% it will accelirate 11 % faster from 0 to top speed, now this is a very oversimplified example and there are a lot more that changes when you reduce the weight of a car like the friction...
thx for the reply, i am going to start to strip out my gen1 when i get around to it and lets see how much weight i can remove, i was debating to keep it a daily or a weekend car but screw it
damn thats pretty light for a car with full interior
i am curious abut how much weight you can remove from the gen 1 ms3 before it isnt legal to drive on the road i know its going to be super noisy but i am not going to use it outside of racing
so i am curious about if you can fit the transmission final drive out of a gen 2 into a gen 1 i am used to hondas so the gears on the speed are too long for me lol
i have been thinking about porting the cylinder head on my 2007 mazdaspeed3 and i cant seem to find any info about this topic so if anybody has done it what are the gains and finaly is it worth it?
