Will a bad or failing fuel pump cause the fuel pump resistor to go bad

OK, where on the hpfp is the ground

I already cleand the MAF, that was the first thing I did. I have and access port and the pressure is fine before it dies no change... It's like I've just turned the car off. When it dies all the dash lights come on as if you first turn in it to the accessory spot on the ignition.

So Im having some stalling at idle problems. When ot stalls it's thrown a P2188 CEL. I've changed my fp relay and the fp resistor and it made the cel go away but only for a few days, then it came back as did the stalling at idle. As I'm monitoring suff on my ap I noticed the the hpfp sensor...
