They are called Bears, imagine hitting a big ass grizzly. if you do hit one just hope it's near dead or good chance it will then pull you out of the car for it's next meal lol
For now i put a stock one back in, it has been copping over 30psi for the last 6 years. When i put the high boost drag tune in i might just take the hose off the manifold and let it vent to air and screw a bung in the manifold and connect it back for street life, which Freek advised to do so it...
It looks like yours is around the wrong way as well, you may want to pull it off and make sure you can only blow through one side only. The side you can blow through ( pretty sure the light colored side) need to point to the purge valve and black side to intake mani so when purge valve opens it...
There was some detonation going on in the 1st 2 logs that may have caused some weak spots on the pistons, since it was just 91 with the amount of boost wouldn't help due to there being no meth or eth to cool the combustion heat down and spinning it to 8000rpm.
Do you have logs of the 91 tunes that were hitting KR. If it's up near 3.0 at high rpm on pump fuel it's cooking pistons no matter what they are made of.
You said in this post 8th revision trying to get rid of knock. Possibly the damage was already done to the pistons with detonation before the e85 tune.
