Tha ks everyone. It's far from nice but if definitely not the worst condition one out there
I can't say that I have looked into the r8 coils. are they the same connector as the Toyota one and or same pin layout? I'm sure the haltech can run them, just need to know the proper dwell time etc to...
Figured I'd post here to add some protege content, not that anyone really cares about the protege anymore. So I've had this car for what seams like forever. @Raider can confirm. I think I purchased this car on 7/11/2008 with about 36k miles on it and now has over 150k road hard and put up wet...
To be fair i had a bracket riveted in place because that area of the bumper the tab is completely gone but I still like to think raider got carried away.

Its funny you say that because I never really launched my car or did burnouts for fear of breaking the diff. My diff snapped around 120-130k-ish while ripping on first gear after turning out of a neighborhood. I did beat the snot out of the car be really never from a dead stop. Its also been...
Stock everything is good in most peoples eye unless they know about the weak diff that tend to break. I broke mine around 5k rpms in 1st gear while getting on it at stock boost. Oddly enough I was still able to drive\limp it home ever so gently with a broke diff.
Pretty low mileage and clean. Its really depends on your market area bur 6.5k isn't crazy considering the mileage, rarity, and condition. Most end up selling 3-5k with around 150k on them. You also might want to mention if it has the stock diff or upgeaded one.

For those of you looking for help with the protégé platform feel free to ask away. I personally have a great deal of knowledge with MSPs and protégé's in general. I've had my MSP for about 10 years (dang has it been that long already?) and a protégé5 prior to that for about 3 or 4 years. I've...
If you have recently replaced your WGA on your MSP and still suffer from boost creep issues or slow boost its generally a few things with the protégés. One of them being a bad WGA or improperly adjusted wga. However the other isn't so easy to figure out.
I've had the wastegate flap in the...

1) The plastic cowl by the wipers.
2) The plastic part that’s attached to the fender by the door. You can see this part when the door is open.
3) A piece of metal under the wiper cowl that runs front to back on the car. If you tap on it with your hand you will hear it...
twoI didn’t see a thread just for this so I figured I would post my findings on this.
NOTE: Keep in mind I have a water hose pointed directly in the wiper cowl on full blast... you will never see that much water even with going through a car wash.
My first leak was at the harness plug going...
