    Fuel Lines

So, I developed a crack in the HPFP hardline that thankfully didn’t strand me. I ordered the line offered by Corksport as well as their HPFP rebuild kit since I’m taking everything apart. I also picked up a fuel feed line from SP Tuning. What I can’t find is an upgraded fuel return line. I don’t...

    500 HP minivan slayer

Infections suck. I ended up with an extra 3 knee surgeries due to infection and my incision still opens up a little every once in a while and it’s been a few years. Looks like a great project.

Pressing out new bushing on new control arms

I burned them out when I installed the bushings from Damond.

    Mazdaspeed 3 Journey for a non-owner

I’m pushing 140k in my Speed. Still on the original clutch and have only done my light mods and routine maintenance. I still have a new control arms etc. with performance bushings that I haven’t put in yet. I go back and forth about replacing it, but it’s been so reliable I worry about getting...

2024: Yahoo and AOL don't work for MSO

My sbcglobal.net wasn’t working either. Of course, I think yahoo took those over from AT&T. Protonmail works.

What did you do to your ride today

I should have checked before I left. At least it was only one. The guy that pulled it in left and they didn’t have anyone else that drives a manual so I had to back it off lift. Guess I’ll be heading back tomorrow.

What did you do to your ride today

Got the new rubber today. Anyone see the problem? Cleaned it up a bit too.

    Torque Steer

I don’t have a big turbo and mine are breaking loose going into 2nd and 3rd due to balding tires. Thankfully, it stays pretty straight when it happens. A mew set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S are being installed Friday. I wouldn’t buy the Pirelli P Zero again.

    Torque Steer

OK. I guess everyone that has ever experienced some level of torque steer must have something wrong with their vehicle. All of the aftermarket parts are also solutions in search of a problem.

    Torque Steer

Bone stock, there absolutely was torque steer. Damond trilogy later and it ceased to exist. The RMM was replaced first and it made a huge difference.

What did you do to your ride today

I haven’t done anything to my speed in a long time. Today I received and installed the Damond vacuum block. Exciting I know. Looks cleaner even with the janky bracket I made to hold it.

    Bose Amp Bypass

I put in a small Alpine amplifier under the seat next to the Bose amplifier. I used RCAs from my Pioneer head unit and cut the speaker wires from the Bose and patched them over to the amp. I did leave the crappy Bose subwoofer connected. I was going to do more, but keep fighting with myself...

    Lower control arm bushing replacement

I used a propane torch to burn the old one out of the cage and then popped the cage out before pressing the new one in.

    Suspension bushings

For anyone that may have been waiting for a update. I’m in Arizona for two months working with the Border Patrol while my car sits in a airport parking garage. I plan on installing everything myself when I get back in July. Sure miss not having my car this summer.

    Suspension bushings

A bit more progress. The last bushings are being saved for the shop that does the install unless I get a crazy idea in my head and decide to do it myself.
