I actually found that thread and those are the slimmer ones. Oem and the white line mounts don’t fit at all with the driver side DSS axle on my car.

Oh really? Have you heard of anyone run into issue after doing that? It does seem like the easier route. But I also have a new oem axle in at the moment. Also to be honest if I can work directly with DSS and get this issue worked out, maybe they can use whatever we find out for future axles...
My issue is the CV/boot/fastener is contacting the RSB mount and bushing. I think this picture will help.
