EBC Stage 5 vs Stage 4

Red's in my experience were awful. Absolutely no pedal feel or stopping power unless you stood on the pedal. I tried so hard to like them but I couldn't do it. Yellow's are hands down the best pads I've ever tried. They have monster stopping power and great pedal feel especially when warm. I've...

Help Me Decide on Stiffer Suspension, Plz?

The ground controls should come with a spring cup. I had wheels off the ground all the time and my spring never became unseated. The only time they would unseat was when both wheels were off the ground.

Help Me Decide on Stiffer Suspension, Plz?

I had the Ground Control kit before my V3's. I bought them in a group buy from the RPM store when they were first released. Donovan, the owner, put the kits together based on the driving style and conditions we specified in our orders. My initial order shipped with 525 in/lbs 6" linear springs...

    2011 CX7 misfire (FML)

If we had a log I'm sure it would be easy to pin point. You can buy a bluetooth OBD II adapter and pair it to your smartphone with the torque pro app. From there you can pick and choose parameters and do some logging. Mainly you want accelerator pedal position, actual AFR, Boot, load, hpfp...

    1st Log

Knock is the most important thing to monitor IMO. If you see that number above 2 at WOT you should back off and investigate. Optimally you want 0 knock but if you occasionally see that number hitting 0-1.6 your ECU will take care of it.

How-To: Fix Accessport and OBD Connection issues (Loose Pins)

An issue I and many others have run into is the connector that plugs into the AP V3 breaks then comes loose... all the time. Cobb used the cheapest connector they could find and it sucks. Luckily you can replace the connector yourself with this part...

    302 Miata Time!

Damn bad ass build. I love the 302. Had a POS Mustang with a 302 in high school. Car had absolutely shit top end but damn it pulled hard down low.

    1st Log

Log looks fine. I know it's high speed but a fourth gear WOT from 3000 to 6500 will be more telling any day than a 3rd WOT.

    Fix your Magnaflow Exhaust!

No I didn't, I probably should have but I guess it didn't cross my mind at the time. Asking them now might be pointless since the car is no longer being made. I could be wrong. I think I know why they did it, it was probably the best flange that connected to the stock testpipe. The 3" flange...

    Fix your Magnaflow Exhaust!

If you own a 2nd gen and have a Magnaflow exhuast you need to fix it. I know it's an awesome exhaust but it's restrictive as hell. The flange that connects to the test pipe is very narrow 2.25-2.4". I compared to the flange to stock exhaust and it's actually a bit smaller. Don't know why...

    Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood

I saw a carbon hatch on ebay. I would think a hatch would have a more weight savings than a hood. I've picked up that hatch without the supports before and it's damn heavy. I couldn't find any info on the weight of the CF hatch but I'm guessing it's pretty light. Only issue you would have to do...

    BPV Boost Leak??

I had a lot of compressor surge issues with the HKS valve under low load, everyday driving. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. Bitch would flutter like a god damn turkey after every shift an cause the worst AFR's. I sold it after a week and bought a Cobb XLE. I haven't had a single...
