    JohnnyTightlips Build "Maximum Carnage"

Well my PI stopped working and/or was getting flaky. It was happening more so when it was cold out "freezing temps" and I was not sure if it was a pump issue or something else. I took the bumper off and tested the pump which worked without issue. I checked fuses and everything was good. So I...

ms3 second gen trans in first gen ms3?

I think mostly falling off but I am not totally sure, mine have been solid but I also don't smash the crap out of the gears often.

ms3 second gen trans in first gen ms3?

Mine were actually glued in but I have heard of a lot of people having issues with the brass so some new OEM ones might be better. I have not had any issues with mine.

ms3 second gen trans in first gen ms3?

LOL we don't get honda parts , I wish. The OEM trans is good to about 800hp though so we don't really need the parts. I bought all mine from https://www.tascaparts.com/ they are slow but cheap. You could still crack the new one open and inspect it without having to pull the stacks or gears. You...

ms3 second gen trans in first gen ms3?

I am running a 2nd gen trans in my juan without any issues. If you are going through with getting a 2nd gen trans and have the knowledge I would recommend pulling it apart to check the forks and synchros. My fork was OK but the synchro and gear were both bad on 2nd. You do need a press to work...

intake or throttle body? need opinions.

CS throttle body and 4" intake are def overkill on the CST4. 3.5" will be more than enough even 3" will do that job if you are not in a place with a colder climate. I would go 3.5" hard intake and skip the TB.

Smol Update: I have been having trouble with the car just randomly shutting off and from time to time.I was also getting a crank code but not all the time and it would show up randomly while the car was running fine. MS6 Low compression and Timing?

You have to buy them in the size you want, they are not shimmable which sucks. I measured all of the buckets coming out of my head that had 155k miles on it and they all exactly matched the sizing that was stamped on them. The reason you need to check them is because the valve and valve seat can...
