    Stage 2 RMM for Mazdaspeed!

I would sell the DM mount instead of keeping it on the shelf, they would sell quickly. Since this is still Corksport's thread, going back to their product, does anyone have more reviews of this new stage 2 RMM? I want to hear more input NVH wise.

    Stage 2 RMM for Mazdaspeed!

Good info, thanks guys. Sounds like an aftermarket PMM is an inevitable upgrade for me if I plan to keep the car up to 100k miles.

    Stage 2 RMM for Mazdaspeed!

For those that had their PMMs fail, how hard do you guys drive? Do you street race? Launch from a stop? Auto-cross? I'm approaching 68k miles on my car and so far my PMM has held up. I don't to do auto-cross or street racing though and I rarely launch from a stop.

Power/Torque Levels and Loss of Traction

Interesting idea. Applying it to a daily driver, one should tune their car when their tires are worn out, just before they replace them. So once they get the tires replaced, assuming the replacements are of the same type or better, the traction issue should also be resolved.

Power/Torque Levels and Loss of Traction

Good data point there @VoodooJef , thanks for sharing.

Power/Torque Levels and Loss of Traction

I suppose that's true. If everyone had the same turbo and setup, it would be easy to compare. Good tip on lowering load targets with the tune. Some will argue that you are leaving untapped power if you do that. However if you are already spinning your tires anyway when going WOT, then you're...

Power/Torque Levels and Loss of Traction

So this discussion pops in and out every once in awhile in the shout box. I thought I'd make a thread to ask my question on it. Given decent all-season or summer tires, at what power or torque levels will you start losing traction when going WOT on 3rd gear? For reference, I'm running...

What did you do to your ride today

Shouldn't be a problem anymore as I already ran into this issue when I installed the throttle body gasket bypass before. I can't remember exactly how I solved the issue, but I think I bought a short stubby screwdriver and squeezed my hands in there to loosen the clamp. What's going to be...

What did you do to your ride today

Ordered JBR boost tubes. Chasing a possible boost leak, which could probably have happened after I installed the ETS TMIC. Since I'm going to be double checking the connections and doing a boost leak test, I thought I might as well replace the boost tubes.

Air Compressor for Boost Leak Test Question

I have a noob question. I want to do a boost leak test on my car. What kind of air compressor do I need? Can I use those portable tire inflators that plug into the car's cigarette socket? I have one like this...

What did you do to your ride today

What kind of GFB respons bov did you get? Why do need to use an adapter plate for it? I thought they fit the stock flange just fine?

    Slug's Genpu Newb Chronicle

I have contemplated trading in my Speed3 for a new Mazda6 GT a few times, for a much more comfortable daily drive. For now, I think I will miss the highway passing power too much. I'll re-evaluate once my Speed3 hits 100k miles. It has now just passed 67k miles.

At least it was replaced with a Mazda. The new 2017 Mazda3s and Mazda6s are sweet daily drivers. Not as quick as a Speed3, but makes up for it in daily driver amenities.

That is unfortunate news. But yes I'm also curious what you replaced it with?

    AccessPort retention clip fix

I see. In my case, I am the original buyer. However and I just double checked my emails to verify, in my email I never told them I was the original buyer. I was actually expecting them to ask me where I bought it from, what date and what my AP serial number is, but they never asked that. They...
