    Negative LTFT

No, you can build one out of a PVC end cap and a silicone coupler for less. I am assuming you have a compressor? As well as boost leak testing a smoke tester is very handy for finding leaks. That being said the smoke test and the pressurized boost leak test serve similar functions but are...

    New k04 problems

Well that guy is stuck in a room with a moving floor that happens to be sandpaper and it appears he has fallen. It also appears as if he's perpetually stuck against that wall with basically a belt sander for a floor. Factor in the effects of gravity and I'd say dude is having a rather shitty time.

[SOLVED] Need help wont go over 4500rpm

OP how many miles on the car/motor and are you on the original PRV? Have you tested the PRV?

    My first Mazda post

Well if you want as little lag as possible and 500 whp it's going to cost you. Probably looking at Borg Warner EFR or Garrett G series. Both of which are expensive turbos but where the real cost comes in is all the custom exhaust work you'll need to run one. That being said the CST5 you have...

    Building for the road course...again

I've got a post around here from about 3-4 years ago trying to figure out all kinds of crazy gremlins or so I believed. I had cleaned my intake valves about a week prior to all the shenanigans. Car ended up at the dealer because it was still my DD and I was at my wits end. The master Mazda...

    Building for the road course...again

Hey fucking up is the best way to learn, you'll never forget. That's something nobody ever wants to admit to.

So at this point I would strongly suggest determining the health of your motor before going any further with this car. Compression and leakdown test are in order. I would also want to get a bore scope into the cylinders to see what things look like in there. You are probably going to have to...

Sure does, I didn't even look good catch! OP, that's not a great sign speaking from experience.

Not sure what you are after at this point but it would help out A LOT if you could give us all the requested information for troubleshooting. https://mazdaspeeds.org/index.php?threads/troubleshooting-sheet.13117/

Well I hope that works out for you long term. I wouldn't call this "fixed". Fuel injector cleaner doesn't actually do anything to clean the injectors in these cars. They need to be professionally cleaned and flow tested. Not exactly sure why this solution "worked" but I honestly won't be...

    Well its out!

Pretty much, I have all the Powerflex bushings and I plan to clean and paint all the arms as well as the sub frame. I also have a set Swift Springs with B8s and some Massive Speed camber arms. We shall see if I regret going to urethane on the street. Depending on how things look above the...

My car is "street" driven.....;) Im interested what setup OP has though as far as mods/tune?

Agreed your plugs "should" be fine. How many miles do you have on these plugs? Have you pulled them and checked the gap since youve started having this issue? Do us a favor and include all the info included in the Troubleshooting Sheet. What coil packs are on the car?

Which exact plug did you use and what gap?

So did you conduct the PRV test with a HOT motor. The test relies on the heat from the engine to cause the fuel pressure to rise. Also take a data log of this behavior while driving and see what your fuel pressure is doing. This potentially sounds like a bad PRV but it could be other things...

    Well its out!

T That's great to hear! I seriously doubt my car will ever see the temps you probably see on the track.

    Well its out!

I almost tagged you EB, I was hoping you would chime in. I never understood that whole moisture thing either. Not to mention I would imagine with the temps any moisture would dissapate.

    Well its out!

Thanks for the warning on that! I've been researching it quite a bit and seen some bubbling action over time. I have zero intention of ever driving the car in wet weather again but things happen. I know I need to do something about the CS exhaust manifold to mitigate heat I'm just undecided on...

    Hello guys

There's plenty to learn here, you've found the right place! Welcome to the party!

    Well its out!

Yes, the goal is reduction in overall engine bay temps which has various benefits. There are a few ways to achieve this, ceramic coating is one, some coatings are better than others at retaining heat. Read through the build thread posted by @Mauro_Penguin a few posts up and you"ll see what...
