  1. 500whp No Aux

For those curious how I can do 3rd gear pulls. They work pretty good at this power level and below.
  2. 500whp No Aux

Welp new tune, new goals. I want to preface this by saying this is a very, very dangerous tune. It was done as a "just because" I wanted to and to really stress out the stock fueling limitations. A thread inspired me to do stupid shit. I'm a persistent cunt. Next step is dyno this. Please don't...
  3. New intake manifold going on

Sorry @REDMAN at least your car is working. Hopefully paypal will sort it out for you.
  4. New intake manifold going on

Not giving him any excuses for sending that out the door, but that's like his second one he made right? I would expect quality to come up as he perfects his methods for making them. Like I said, not giving him any excuses. That shouldn't have left his door. Looks like he needs a little more...
  5. 400whp on pump w/o aux fueling

I'll have some data soon. Trying to sort out some issues. A little more controlled spool and keep in mind this is still on 93 octane and no secondary injection. I'm going to try and push up to 27ish psi as long as KR is okay. 29 is definitely going to be more than the stock fueling supply can...
  6. 400whp on pump w/o aux fueling

Things happen and you somehow end up with 29.2psi on 93 pump gas. She felt pretty quick and IDC's weren't as crazy as you would think. More to come.
  7. 400whp on pump w/o aux fueling

Next stop is 404whp @ 6500rpms on stock injectors w/o aux fueling. Made some revisions to a new map. Trying to maximize the injection window the most I can. Only spinning the motor to 6700rpms and calling for more boost in the 5500-6500rpms and tapering it down after 6500. Don't try and throw...
  8. JgamB's "build it before you blow it" thread

As long as you don't have hardwoods. I can rustle up in some carpet in a corner somewhere.
  9. JgamB's "build it before you blow it" thread

"bout time! Is this gonna be a weekend thing? I might consider coming around and observing pending there's room and board somewhere ha.
  10. Anyone else have their pu seat break?

dayum. I'm fat, but not that fat. My seat still attached.
  11. 400whp on pump w/o aux fueling

Thanks. You're right. It wasn't mean to be a DD tune. I wanted to see how far it could make it. I have another project I may pursue to push the stock fueling even more. I blame @Enki
  12. 400whp on pump w/o aux fueling

Try and do something to see what happens and the haters come out. Apparently, I'm trying to make a name for myself and create a buzz. I'm presuming for tuning. A tuning service I don't even fucking offer. I tune my car and a few friends. That's it. I'm attacked on my end for a tune to my own...
  13. JBR under car piping video.

What you were noticing was the phenomena between 3rd and 4th gear spool times.
  14. JBR under car piping video.

The BNR is right with it. 20psi @3407rpms according to the log. It looks steeper b/c of the scale.
  15. JBR under car piping video.

    @f1puertorico Looks pretty close
  16. JBR under car piping video.

@Redline I just think @Enki is trying to over-science it lol.
  17. JBR under car piping video.

They are both based off a Garrett turbine wheel. In fact the HTA3586 is exactly a GT35r exhaust wheel. If I remember correctly the BNRs4 is the GT30r exhaust wheel. @JgamB potentially could elaborate more on that. The BNR also uses a smaller A/R on the hotside, which should spool faster...
  18. JBR under car piping video.

Yes that is due to the Gamma-Ti (Titanium) exhaust wheel. Both of these turbos use inconel.
  19. JBR under car piping video.

I don't think we have any data that supports that yet. We will soon. Tho, wouldn't you expect a BNRs4 to spool faster than a HTA3586?
  20. JBR under car piping video.

Hmmmmm you stealing muh quan bro... @PoonFlavoredWang @Redline we should be able to test spool quite easily. Do a few pulls of my current setup and average the boost curve and then do the same for the JBR cold pipe. It'll be on the same car, same day and same tune. Should be fairly comparible...
