    Maisonvi's never ending build

What's the length and gauge of the wire you are using to power the pump? Gauge chart says for 15 amps (full draw for the dw300c) to be at least 12 gauge for any run under 13 feet. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    PSA: Low Compression Fix Adventure

I got the car in late April and did notice a power loss after a month. 3rd and 4th gear weren't as punchy as when I first got the car. Did my first compression test in August and everything has been consistent since. I switched over from the free Cobb ots to a conservative tune by dizzy after...

    PSA: Low Compression Fix Adventure

Did this over the weekend with the help of @VTMongoose . -removed the spark plugs -poured 2 ounces of cleaner into cylinder -cranked engine a few times to get it moving -let it sit for a little less than 24 hours -sucked it out with cheap fluid pump -assembled everything back together and...

    PSA: Low Compression Fix Adventure

I suppose there was a thread on the old forum talking about how the gen2 pistons are better for this reason. All the more reason for port injection and lots of boost Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

    PSA: Low Compression Fix Adventure

@VTMongoose what do you think? My intake valves have never been cleaned to my knowledge but I thought direct injection takes care of carbon build up in the cylinder or on the piston. I'd still like to do a leak down before and after Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

Interesting, I'm curious how your leak down results would differ, I'm in a state of low compression currently Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

What did you do to your ride today

Hey sorry I never responded to this. I'd say it was about 30 pounds. I finally got around to doing rear doors and back hatch so probably 40 pounds total. Next step is going to be a layer of mass loaded vinyl along the floor and wherever else I can find space and that's the heavy stuff, ie 60 lbs...

What did you do to your ride today

Ya it's a front wheel drive car so it can only be so much racecar. I'm a canyons/backcountry roads kinda guy so I have my fun daily ms3 but I'm saving to hopefully do an old miata or sti build for the real racecar feels Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk

What did you do to your ride today

I must not have been clear in my previous post, I did front doors heavily floor medium trunk area heavily rear wheel wells heavily did not do rears doors or 5th door so yes get the next size up or 2x 36 as I don't see any bigger sizes in the 80 mil configuration.

What did you do to your ride today

I did front doors really well, floor pretty good, trunk area and rear wheel wells double layered before running out of material. Should have 36 more square feet coming to finish up the 5th door, back doors, increase the floors and maybe do some of the dash as well. It helped a lot. The car is...

    Lean during WOT

I appreciate the responses that have gone on in this thread. Regardless of the MAF cal, it wouldn't cause the lean condition I am experiencing and that still needs to get sorted. Once it is sorted, Jason will provide me with a new map.
