There might be a little more rotation there, but since I'm not at the Time Trial level yet, it isn't as big a deal for me on the second or so it might save me as the ability to swap tires throughout the season front to back given the beating it takes up front.

Been about 2 months since posting, long story short everything continues to go great, and I have a ton of respect for this car that I don't ever think I fully realized until this last weekend. On March 2nd I did my first event of the season at Summit Point Main, which was my first time on that...

    hoodratkp's MS6

I'm located down in Harrisonburg - not sure when I can get the time but feel free to PM me.

Was hoping you would chime in - thanks! That's what I was cognitively trending towards, probably kick the toe to the 1/16 to help with a particular corner I want to defeat this year.

Small update: Picked up ARP Extended studs from a few different sellers on facebook, all BNIB but less than half the total cost of new. Installed without issue to accommodate the new 12mm spacers I picked up. ^why you need extended studs with wheel spacers Now that basically everything I...

    Dsc issue

That's seriously cool, was it entirely custom build? What sort of software are you using to log and tune?

    Dsc issue

If your car is heavily modified with a swapped motor, I would disable the stability control since you probably want to fling it around pretty often. Also post up some pics of that swap, sounds interesting.

Burning Oil but all tests good

that's great to hear - cylinder 4 on my motor seems consistently wet / more plug fouled than the others, I might give that try

I used almost that exact kit, no problems with the Drivers side, but the passenger side for some reason wouldn't come out, threads started to give on the shaft and I called it. Haven't had a chance to really dog it yet, just some mild street pulls to check the setup is back in order, only blew...

Winter Update! Everything is done, basically finished for the winter aside from getting a new alignment and picking up new spacers when I find a set I'm comfortable with. All-in-all probably spent upwards of 60 hours just cranking on this thing, fighting stuck parts and drinking beer...

[SOLVED] New fuel injectors - Car will no longer stay running

Where in Virginia are you? Must be somewhere they care, I've never gotten so much as a glance. With a straight pipe you're asking for trouble and a lot of drone - just put in a resonated test pipe or find a way to make it less shitty. As long as your diameter doesn't change and you aren't...

Burning Oil but all tests good

Can't hurt anything as long as you change the oil afterwards.

Burning Oil but all tests good

I burn probably that much or more, though my car is primarily a track car now - I won't advocate that you ignore it but.... if compression and leakdown are good, and the car seems happy, send it?

Collecting parts to get my wheel bearings swapped out this winter - currently have Timken bearings and retainer clips, don't think I will need anything else for that? If there is anything I should look at replacing while they are being worked (all 4 corners) let me know. Also on the agenda...

    Graveyard Performance Coilovers

You get what you pay for. Graveyard doesn't have the ability or knowledge to manufacture their suspension components in-house, so they go to a mass market distributor. They have a $950 price point, which includes their markup. They are also a low-volume buyer, so they don't have the ability...

As expected, that was the issue. The o-ring was at the base of the outlet neck on the pump, swapped in the basket -> o-ring on top -> fuel pressure at KOEO is 64, no more issues.

    That's definitely the issue then!

Do you still have your OEM pump assembled with that piece on? I'm fairly certain that is the culprit but would be curious to see someone else's in its natural state. I'll go check out Vash's as well. (Edit, here it is, sounds suspiciously like my problem: Died while driving. Will not start...

    Bought not Built

And just like that, I think I figured it out - the below picture is a tiny basket that goes on the outlet from the pump, above which sits an o-ring. When we pulled out the old pump, it didn't even occur to me that it needed to be transferred over since there aren't any good guides and none of...

    Bought not Built

Looks like I spoke too soon - I took the car out to grab some groceries and test the fuel pump, and lo and behold the car drove great all the way to the store. Parked it, came back out, car won't start - no fuel. Background: I can hear it prime (sounds like a weak prime), and the HPFP reads a...
