What did you do to your ride today

That is definitely interesting @SharksInSpace . I just looked and I am still on Vdyno 1.2.7. Best I can tell it's fairly accurate from my one dyno day I've done.

    Ms3 slave cylinder over extending

We have been discussing it at length since you posted this thread. I had thought he had remedied the issue, but it turns out he has not yet. Looks like we might be dropping his transmission again as he thinks the fork might have bent or needs a spacer to stop the slave from overextending. We...

What did you do to your ride today

Out of fuel I'm guessing? I was thinking the same with my BNR S3 and was disappointed I wasn't in the 330whp range. But, after a quick talk with my tuner it was decided that the 310 range was for the best with 93 octane. He said 330 was definitely attainable, but it does make sense to not...

Congrats Quigs (Ticket Number: 6213), VashEXE (Ticket Number: 6227)! $50 for Damond Motorsports

I will most definitely be doing this, thank you! Sorry :)

I certainly have had more than my fair share of winnings, I'm not going to lie. But I do appreciate the awesomeness that this forum offers with these raffles!

    Ms3 slave cylinder over extending

A local was having the same problem...we went through like 4 slave cylinders trying to fix it. I'll ask him what he finally came up with for a solution, I don't recall what finally fixed it off the top of my head.

The essential "save your ass bag" thread

I used to have a small toolbox in my 240SX that I could fix just about anything on the car with. Came in handy multiple times and it fit perfectly in a small recessed spot behind the passenger seat. I do not, however, have anything like it in the Speed. Hell, I don't even carry a donut spare...

I, too, hate the CS logo on the steering wheel, but the awesome look and feel of it make it not matter so much. I have yet to pull the trigger on one for myself, but I've driven a buddy's car a few times with the CS wheel and it is hands down a wonderful product. I have no CS parts at all and...

You should paint them for sure. A buddy of mine painted his RX8s a sweet gloss anthracite gray for his black gen 1 and it looked absolutely killer. Way better than plastidip.

What did you do to your ride today

Went for a hard drive this morning in an attempt to finish scrubbing off the last remaining life out of my old tires so I can get these new ones mounted. After talking to Killboy at the Dragon I am giving the Kumho Ecsta PS91 a shot to see how they work out. (Ignore the baby Miata tires also...

    Road racing build

Is there a specific class you are building for? Or just building the craziest thing that you can? I, too, have seen pictures on Facebook. Awesome fab work for sure.

The Mustang looks great, and I bet it's a blast to drive regardless of the somewhat numb steering. I do have to say though, I personally think Ford/Roush really missed the mark with the "Roushcharged" sticker on the hood. That's about as ricey as it gets IMO.

What did you do to your ride today

Forgot to mention that the salesperson's name is Nicholas. He was very helpful with getting me exactly what I was looking for. I just used the QuickJack this past weekend to do a clutch swap on my buddy's car. While it still sucks being on your back and working above you, it was much, much...

The old version is BL-5000. Email nmarin@quickjack.com and tell him you'd like a BL-5000 for $1095 shipped. Google will not bring up much, you'll most likely only find info on the newer BL-5000SLX. Though, if you don't have a small car where length isn't as much of an issue, the updated...

What did you do to your ride today

Everything except for a power source...I got the 12v version so I could use it at the track and use my battery jump box to power it. On my Miata I just use the car's battery since it is in the trunk and I usually place the hydraulic unit at the rear of the car. There is also a 110AC version...

What did you do to your ride today

I got my new QuickJack in and set up the other day. Ceilings are too low for any sort of traditional lift unfortunately. And I don't have the money to raise the ceilings and also reinforce the concrete in the floor, so this seemed like a reasonable compromise. Also, it's completely portable...

    Thespeedline.com genwin hood strut kit

I ordered three sets of juan and two sets of pu for myself and the locals...it brought the shipping price down a bit by ordering them all together. Should be here any day now. I'll make sure to report back any issues.

    Which 3.5" intake to get.

I've always liked the HTP intakes over the others. Don't really have any good reason why though. Also, no small battery box necessary with a little ingenuity. Either relocate the ECU to the fuse box like some do, or keep the stock box and move the ECU inside of it next to a 51R. This picture...

What did you do to your ride today

Installed Whiteline Anti-lift kit today. Man, what a pain in the ass. Also bled my brakes just to flush in some new fluid since it has been a couple years since the car got some fresh fluid.
