    Building an Exocet

Very much looking forward to following this thread. Good luck!

On large bumps you may rub in the rear. I have my fenders rolled flat, very slightly pulled, and the rear bump tab cut out. I did all that due to being lowered, but with the longer suspension travel and softer rates of the stock suspension you may still compress enough to rub if you try my...

I do like the way they look, just not quite as much as 18s. Solely for aesthetics, and it's seriously a very marginal difference in which I like better. And yes, a meaty tire is a must have, no question about that. I run 17s at the track and love the look, but for the street I like a little...

I like 18x8.5 because I feel they look proportional on our cars. 17s look a tad small to me. 17s are a good look for the track, but I like the look of 18s for the street.

    Speed hut gauges

Defi FTW. (I know, picture is old and crappy...thought I had a better one). I do, however, run AutoMeter gauges in the racecar.

What did you do to your ride today

Because $40 for new plugs every other year is cheap preventative maintenance. Like it was mentioned a few posts after mine, step colder NGKs are good for 40-50k miles. I've read somewhere that 30k is a good life expectancy for them as well with higher boost levels. My Speed is not my everyday...

What did you do to your ride today

Mine did that too. I replace mine every 15k miles and now check the gap around 7-8k miles.

    Throttle Hesitation

I, too, would stick with the stock clutch for anything BNR S3 or less. It has been proven to hold the power reliably and for long periods of time. Especially if your car is a daily driver. IMO the stock clutch is the best bang for the buck and it can be regularly found for pretty cheap on...

Datalog files wont save to computer

I haven't yet, but it's on my list to do. Been busy with fixing my truck, haven't had much time to do much else haha.

Datalog files wont save to computer

I updated Accessport manager when I got my V3. It is the most up to date version and works with both V2 and V3. I can use my V2 from my other car with no problems. I can add maps to my V3 no problems. It's only saving from the V3 where it stops working. I uninstalled and re-downloaded...

Datalog files wont save to computer

I've tried saving to multiple places. Flash drives, external hard drives, other folders, desktop, etc. When I search for the file it states there is no file found.

Datalog files wont save to computer

I recently upgraded from my V2b Accessport to a V3 a few months ago. Due to not driving my car everyday, I just got around to grabbing a few datalogs tonight. I had already updated all the firmware for Accessport Manager and my ATR was up to date from right before Cobb took it down. Plugged...

    clutch goes soft after boost

On my old 240SX with SR20DET swap I had a somewhat similar problem except that it was the brake pedal instead of the clutch and it would get rock hard with no braking power. Only did it after a WOT run at full boost. It did end up being the brake booster. I know that's not entirely similar...

Hmmmm, I may need to grab one of these for the track car.

I had to use a short open ended wrench on that one IIRC.

What did you do to your ride today

I figure I'll lightly sand the rough spots and try to find the closest matched paint I can...might have to hit up a hobby shop or something to try to match the TSW matte bronze. It won't look perfect, but from far away I doubt anyone will notice. If they were stock wheels I would definitely...

What did you do to your ride today

Ugh, curbed one of my wheels pretty bad today...thought I had more room than I did, then I heard the crunching noise. I know it's inevitable that wheels will always eventually get messed up one way or another, but still :(

2016 Epic Midwest Nator Meet (EMWNM)

Ugh, I wish I could make this so bad...I wonder if I could still somehow make it work, I believe my wife will be out of town that weekend.
