Buy a feeler gauge and check your spark plug gap...they can cause misfires if they aren't gapped properly. The plugs you bought will have too large a gap from factory. Also check to ensure the ceramic part of the plug is not cracked or damaged.

@Mackinnon, this is 100% correct. You are running a step colder plug and when I installed mine, I had to gap them to 0.026". CELs = check engine light In other words, is your car throwing any codes?

I've never had a misfire and I'm from Canada as well. How many km on your car? Do you know if the injectors have ever been cleaned or serviced? What mods do you currently have installed? Are you getting any CELs? EDIT: what spark plugs are you running and what are they gapped at?

Does he warranty a stock build at those power levels? Asking out of curiosity...also wondering if a mild build would be good. Like stock pistons with better rods or something.

Ah man...that really sucks to see. I'm trying to figure out how that ended up on top of your intake valves though. Have you checked your turbo to see if it's still intact? Did your turbo somehow let go?

Is that your recirc tube or valve cover breather that's disconnected? That'll do it! Haha...glad you figured it out :)

The valve cover has a breather to the intake, unless OP blocked it off. I was trying to figure out how the breather cap could cause this. Of course, this isn't the issue since his has the check valve. I agree with you...his MAF is barely registering anything. So I think you're on the right...

@liquidefex, I just asked the guys on Shoutbox (also, cause I'm interested in getting a vented breather cap as well). Does the one you installed have a check valve? If it does not, you're going to be introducing unmetered air and your trims will be all over the place.

Maybe check the oring / gasket on the MAF sensor. Something doesn't seem right with sitting at just 2-3 g/s on idle. EDIT: agreed on the parameters you are logging with. Also, do you need to tune for the oil breather cap? You may need to...

That would be a bit odd for a piston to contact the electrode on your spark plug. It really doesnt seem like it could be possible. Compression definitely seems a bit low in that cylinder. How does the ceramic portion on the spark plugs look for all your plugs. Some people were having issues...

I did absolutely everything I could for mine; penetrating fluid, heat, padded bent nose pliers, wiggling, talking dirty to it, and finally, scolding it with foul language that made me wash my own mouth out... It was stuck and even a slight challenge for the puller. Lots of carbon build-up...
