    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

Yep, altitude sucks... But this new setup is going to make some power regardless of the altitude :)

Okay, here is the comparison between the EFR7163 on 91, no aux fuel and the GTX3582 on 91 with no aux fuel. Keeping it at no correction factor also so numbers are going to be low. Red is 2.3L GTX3582 and blue is 2.0L EFR7163 Keep in mind there are some pretty big differences in the engine...

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

Our corrected numbers account for that by having us at 472 corrected. We are essentially at a 2.5 psi deficit up here right out of the gate. Baro sensor reads anywhere from 11.01 to 12.18 depending on where you go in denver/colorado springs. At sea level it will be around 14.65. It has a drastic...

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

This graph is from a GTX3582, not an EFR. The comparison was in reference to our previous turbo setup. However, on the 2.0L engine, the EFR turbo only spooled a couple hundred rpm faster.

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

I was referring to our old setup. Before the built 2.3L stroker and GTX3582, we were running the EFR7163 on the stock 2.0L at about 28psi and it made about 390 uncorrected. Now we are on the higher compression 2.3L stroker with head work and a GTX3582 pushing about the same horsepower at 20psi.

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

Well guys, the ST has been running for about a month now. Got it broken in and currently running on 91oct. We are still ironing out some details on our fuel system, but should have that ready to go in the car soon. Since race season is over for us here in Denver until at least April, we haven't...

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

Dyno mode disables the rear drive. Puts it in FWD only. And yes, if I hadn't just purchased a 2016 WRX a year ago, I'd be on a list for the RS right now.

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

I don't have the specs on that. It is a twin scroll K04ish turbo though, that is all I really know. It really doesn't fall on its face too bad either. The RS's I've tuned have all been up here in denver at over 5250asl. They will hold 22psi to redline which is pretty amazing considering the K04...

BNR S4's are in Stock at EdgeAutosport!

I'm not entirely sure yet. He hasn't mentioned them to us yet. I guess I should give him a call :)

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

Pricey for sure. Since it is such low production and it is different enough from the mustang, parts are not cheap for them.

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

I can see where you'd be weary... But the RS is proving to be a beast of a car. There are plenty out there making way more torque than this at the same rpms and still running strong. However, they don't like to be flat foot shifted from what we've been seeing.

BNR S4's are in Stock at EdgeAutosport!

Hey guys just wanted to let you know that we have nine BNR S4's in stock and ready to ship! Last few months have seen some pretty long wait times for the S4 as demand was quite a bit greater than supply. However, supply has finally caught up, but these things go fast so if you were on the fence...

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

Our ST has a GTX3582 mounted to a Deadhook 2.3L stroker. But you are not wrong, the K03 stock turbo falls on its face rather quick. The turbo on the RS is a twin scroll K04 but it is a bit bigger than the one in the mustang according to ford. It is also a far more efficient turbo than the Mazda...

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

Well it has been 11 months since the car went down, but the heart transplant is finally between the fenders. We even got some fancy underwear on as well.

    EdgeAutosport's Focus ST Build

@Redline the turbo is a GTX3582 with the .82 a/r hotside. While nothing can be done about the head at this time, we are hoping the extra displacement from stroking it to 2.3L, the higher compression, the aggressive cams, port work, and oversized valves will all add up to help get this sucker...

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

Well our ST definitely has more in it than the price of an RS at this point, including the initial price of the car of course. But the ST will destroy an RS. They definitely have the torque down low on us, but the top end on the ST is just insane.

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

I know right... I'm itching to get an RS myself. Found a slightly used one for $40k a couple weeks ago, but still can't justify right now...

My first Focus RS Dyno Tune

Yes, don't mess with them, they bite... And it would be/is a 12 sec car at sea level. These are corrected numbers for altitude. And the owner is able to cut a 1.93 60' without using the factory launch control or flat foot shift.
