    IAT calibration

The cold pipe is 3" at the IC, but the maf section is 3.5" with an airflow straightener at the beginning. The oem IAT in the maf worked fine. Just did a normal maf calibration and was good to go.

You might try calling kosmic on monday about buying the trigger circuit from them. I think it's just 4 diodes and a pull down resistor, but I can't seem to find the schematic dustin posted when he made it years ago..

The trigger circuit combines the coil signals, but keeps them isolated electrically.. I know kosmic motorsports has them built in to the ss controller now. Where did you get your SS controller?

Did your controller come with the trigger circuit for the coils? The left wire at all 4 coils are connected to the trigger circuit and it outputs a combined signal to the SS controller. The only thing else you should need is the maf voltage connection and power and ground.

IIRC the controller should be set for 2 cylinder 2 stroke so you get one injector pulse per intake stroke.

Here are some pictures of the setup. Dont have anything current though as my car has been apart for a while.

    IAT calibration

The transition point from vacuum to boost at lower throttle inputs felt way better, otherwise there wasn't much difference. The maf cal was no more difficult than my original setup. But moving the 3.5" maf to my cold pipe did allow me to switch to a full 4" intake which was a big bonus.

I didnt have any issues with the OEM Maf in blow through.

Did you post the part # on those bolts somewhere? I need to get some as well..

Yes it is a giant PITA.

P0302 Slight misfire at idle or low rpm. Runs great on long drives!

Next step would be to swap in a known good injector. Or if you can afford the downtime send all your injectors off to be cleaned and tested.

    CorkSport Dankai 1 & 2 Built Engines

I paid 1500 for a used longblock to build, then a little over 5k for the parts/labor to build it with only mild head porting. 7k with an upgraded valvetrain and cams doesnt seem unreasonable..

You're right 10mm is probably fine, but if he can make it a little taller it'll only flow better...

How thick are most other spacers? I'd expect a more gradual taper to yield better flow, would 15mm be doable for your original price? If that makes a ton more work for you, I'll be fine with 10mm..

    DIY 3.5” Air Intake

You need to try and get at least 3-4" of pipe before the maf.

    DIY 3.5” Air Intake

Unless you can get the maf in a straight section of piping you will need an air straightener..
