It's said that 650whp is the start of real power. I believe you can put porting heads with the tb because just a little clean up, charges the flow and results in a decent way.

I've been looking here for some time for a write up. I am trying to save $900+. Many spoke about a write up on MSF but I'm done with that site. If there isn't a write up, a recommendations for a better priced location with quality for the right gains needed...increase in flow etc

So I will be back from Syria in about 3 weeks. When I stopped in Iraq, I was able to get a little free time online and purchased another long block for about $500. After the photos, all it needs is sleeves....at the same time, I'm not sure what I will do with it. I might just do a stock rebuild...

Here are the photos. I took them today since I was doing my oil change. Everything is intact. Everything is secure and no signs of leaks anywhere. I used brake cleaner initially and it still looks good.

I am getting different takes on keyway. Is it necessary and/or worth it? Is it just driver error? I saw the G series was mazda so called improved and keyway is stock for it. I've heard many 800+ whp cars without it and then I many with 500 or 600 with failure.

I'm trying not to be CS...lol
