And we are back in business again. All that's left is to bleed the clutch - pedal is way soft. But it goes forward and backward as it should...yay!

It ended up being...a tiny plastic clip in the way. I had the mount between it and the large plastic piece. It was fully inserted into the transmission - once I pushed the clip out the mount swung right into place.
