    MS3 dyno sheet question

Ah idk why I assumed k04. Shoot a couple logs over using Google drive or datazap.me, you can also just upload the .csv file in a post by drag and dropping into the reply box. Sent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk

    MS3 dyno sheet question

The only place you'll find a 350whp k04 speed 3 is on a high reading dynojet running ethanol haha. 1.01 CF on v dyno is kinda in between a mustang dyno and dynojet.

How to Tune for Port Injection and Apply Accurate Fueling corrections

Forgot to mention, this will work great with a return style fuel setup, but if you are returnless you will find that you will need to make some large adjustments. One way of calculating a more accurate R4 basemap is to calculate in small steps on the stratified calculator; Basically enter the...

How to Tune for Port Injection and Apply Accurate Fueling corrections

Figured I'd write-up a guide on how to properly tune a mazdaspeed with port injection, the excel sheet I made to assist with this is attached below. This guide assumes you have prior tuning knowledge and glosses over basic knowledge like how to use the R4 software. Part 1 - Base map 1.) Start...

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

Got my anti lift kit installed along with a stiffer front bushing. The front end feels nice and stiff again. Also installed these Ground Control camber plates to replace my CS plates. The adjustment mechanism is much sturdier, kinda ruined the CS plates adjusting them with the suspension loaded...

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

I was running a damond SSP and MTL and felt the same way until I uninstalled it on a whim.

Yeah I picked up a JBR short shifter but haven't installed it yet. Kinda thinking I won't, the stock throw really isn't too long and it feels kinda satisfying.

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

Small update, I uninstalled my short shift plate and it reduced my 0-60 by about 0.3s. Way easier to shift quickly now. Don't you just love when de-modding makes your car faster? 4.55s with a 1ft rollout ain't bad for fwd! A stock type R does it in 4.9 tho :/

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

Here is a before and after of my ignition table. Before: After: Difference table: It is a bit of a balancing act, pulling too much timing will cause extreme torque loss. You are just trading off torque for energy in the exhaust. Each car is different, if your turbo is very large the trade off...

    Confusing boosting issue

You can just let the EBCS sit. You want a single line going directly from the turbo (boost source) to the wastegate. You would probably want to cap off anything that is left open anywhere else, but the EBCS can just sit there.. Process of elimination is best IMO, once you find that your...

What did you do to your ride today

As long as you use a DA orbital and not a rotary polisher you should be fine. What are you trying to do, get rid of all OE orange peel?

    Persistent DTCs/Rampant limp mode

Idle vacuum should be around -8.5 to - 11 PSI.

    Persistent DTCs/Rampant limp mode

I wouldn't call -4.8 psi the correct amount of vacuum, unless you have more logs to share. I don't think its an electrical issue.

    Persistent DTCs/Rampant limp mode

God thats a mess lol. IDK how you've been driving the car like this for a year... If the intake is larger than stock then you would expect to throw a lean code without a tune because the MAF calibration will be off. Make sure you have the OEM MAF sensor installed. There are differently...

    Mazdaspeed 6 stage 3

The IDC % number is a value calculated by cobb, the ECU does not calculate fuel in IDC %, but IPW. If you log IPW you will get real numbers and can then calculate IDC% by dividing the IPW by crank rotation time in milliseconds. This does not account for other variables such as intake/exhaust...

Can you attach the .csv file for your S4 log with 108% IDC @ 16lbs of boost?

    Persistent DTCs/Rampant limp mode

I just use excel and freeze the top row to view .csv files. The barometric pressure jumping around is normal, the sensor just has very low resolution. There is something wrong with your MAP sensor. I think the issue might be a bad MAP calibration or the MAP is bad. The PO may have unloaded the...
