Ah okay, I actually thought DTP made a downpipe as well, but I was wrong. I contacted Kozmic today and they said a batch is shipping out tomorrow. Really hope mine is in that batch lol.

Already got the dump pipe, and it's an awesome piece! I purchased the turbo as a kit, but I'll give cancelling the downpipe a shot.

I would if I could cancel my order, unfortunately a bit too late :(

Turbo is in! Unfortunately no ETA on the CP-E Manifold and Kozmic downpipe.

All good questions guys. I won't be doing the headwork for a while if at all. If somehow I am able to accomplish my goal of over 550whp then I won't be doing any headwork until I get the itch to do more modifications. Need to save a bit of coin somewhere, although I'm sure I'll change my mind in...

Only made 452whp / 434 lb-ft on a mustang dyno. About what I expected with the boost pressure dropping to ~27 psi at peak power, down to 25psi at 6500rpm, I think the turbo has only a little more in it if I add some spring pressure. My friend on a built motor speed 3 also got dynoed today...

Yeah definitely, I really like running the lightest spring possible for the boost control anyway. Will eventually attempt switching to a 4-port MAC valve, even though supposedly people haven't had luck because of the switching frequency of the ECU.

Yeah, I really wish I did the head work at the start. I think I will stick with my current path and just test out both turbos. I won't immediately sell the EFR kit or anything until I decide the route I want to go. I'll probably get the head ported and install cams over the winter when I...

Well shit, now I'm gonna have to overnight some cams and install them over the weekend rofl. Would there be much benefit to moderately aggressive cams without porting the exhaust side of the head?

For sure, I'd love to see a datalog if you wouldn't mind sharing. I have stock cams, although it is on the list of next modifications. I'll be adding a bit more timing whenever I get a chance to log some more this week.

Ah shit too many posts to keep up lol. Yeah, it is an exponential curve, but the increase is very small, like .01-.05v. Edit: Added an excerpt from 5500-6500 rpm above. Also notice that BATs increase pretty dramatically which shows that the turbo is likely at the edge of efficiency.

Sorry maybe I exaggerated, it does increase slightly. But MAF V is the actual measure of airflow, since only the transfer function is modified in the ECU when you add the split second controller. Here is a little excerpt:

True, I think the CST6 made 630whp on their CS stock flange cast exhaust manifold. I think I'll actually hook up my arduino this weekend to measure the turbo shaft speed, I am curious if I am actually hitting the edge of the compressor map.

The turboback is 3" all the way back other than the downpipe which actually is the full race DP. I think the exhaust back pressure in the manifold is also contributing to pushing the wastegate open as well, although I don't think that would be affected by the downpipe.

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

Yeah I understand, I can see that I am flowing approximately the same amount of air based on MAF V from 5000 rpm to 7k rpm. My load is definitely not as high on the 26 PSI runs. My WGDC is maxed out, I do think I might be able to hold a bit more boost if I switch to a Turbosmart WG and add some...

andale927's PTE 5558 Gen 2 Build (Built Engine)

Yeah man, I don't disagree, the power/torque curve is what matters. Unfortunately my EFR can't seem to hold 28 PSI consistently, after a few back to back pulls I can't seem to hold more than 26 lbs. After spending all this money ~500whp just doesn't cut it for me. Don't get me wrong, the spool...

The only thing I dislike about the precision is that you can't get them water-cooled. But yeah I'm looking forward to a comparison as well haha. Dyno won't capture transient response, but if I have similar loading I can at least compare boost threshold.

By 6000 rpm I can only hold 26-28lbs. I've checked for exhaust leaks and boost leaks and also tried adding a ton of wastegate preload with no dice. I'm commanding 100 wgdc by 5500 rpm.
