What did you do to your ride today

So you're saying, for a daily driver, DM PMM and CS Stage 2 RMM aren't exactly a good combo when it comes to NVH?

How is the NVH with the new CS Stage 2 RMM?

This is on Corksport springs and shocks? I thought that the Corksport shocks had oem fitment, so the front shouldn't be sitting higher like it would be on Koni/Bilstein shocks. Also the Corksport springs lower the front more than the rear. Maybe it just needs time to settle.

    Intercooler Cover Bolts

Not sure where to put this and wasn't sure if this info can go into the "Proven parts" thread. Anyway I wanted to document it here. I had to get new bolts for the intercooler cover on my Genpu. The bolts are M6x1.0. I got them with a length of 20mm which seems to be an appropriate length.

Saturday night, uninstalled ETS tmic and now back to stock tmic. Would have uninstalled the CS SRI and TIP too, but I really didn't want to mess with the TIP and battery box. Back to stage 0 tune as well, but only did a short test drive to make sure nothing is wrong.

Damn I would have preferred NGKs, but the spark plugs have already been shipped so it is too late now. Hopefully the Densos work out fine for my car.

What did you do to your ride today

Not today, but a couple of days ago I finally put in an order for a driver side OEM sun visor for my genpu. Ordered it through TascaParts. A day after, I got an email saying they refunded my payment because the part is out of stock and is on national backorder. I ended up finding a brand new one...

Thanks for the feedback. How easy are they to adjust? I know the front struts should be easy since you can do it with the hood up. How about the rear struts?

How do you like the CS springs and struts? Actually, I'm mainly interested in hearing about the CS struts.

Last Saturday, drive belt was replaced, alignment was checked and tires were balanced. The alignment was still okay so it looks like the tire balance remedied my issue with light/loose steering on the highway.

Genpu in Global Time Attack Round 3

Found him, it is @Sin Loki I didn't think it was him at first because I remember he said he was running VMR wheels. The pictures on the linked article showed a speed with what looked like oem wheels, so I thought it was someone else. But then I found his thread...

Genpu in Global Time Attack Round 3

Just wondering who drives the Genpu that is shown in the article linked below? Congrats on finishing 2nd place on the Enthusiast Class FWD category! Faster than a WRX STi in the same class! You have to find a way to beat the 1st place Fiesta ST next time...

What did you do to your ride today

My driver's side oem sun visor broke. By broke, I mean the part where it swivels around seems to have detached itself from the inside. Almost like a battery that was overcharged and it ballooned. Anyway I removed it easily, there is just 1 screw and a wiring harness that you have to unplug...

How Honda Completely Eliminated Torquesteer on the New Civic Type-R (With No Nannies)

This is why going with really wide wheels and low offset on a FWD with Macpherson struts increases torque steer; because the scrub radius is messed up.

How Honda Completely Eliminated Torquesteer on the New Civic Type-R (With No Nannies)

Thanks Kiwi! I'll look at the video when I get home tonight. We actually can't view youtube videos at our workstations because they are being blocked. I am familiar with the guy from Engineering Explained and am actually subscribed to his channel. He has lots of good informative videos/reviews...
