Throne for the Queen - Enclosed Trailer Build

I like the mattress idea. We usually leave the air mattress inflated during the day, anyway, and it looks like won't take up much more space. I've been thinking about the bar locks and how we secure them open. Not sure yet how I'll do that. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

Throne for the Queen - Enclosed Trailer Build

Yep, we'll sleep in it occasionally. Going to have some sort of bed "frame" that we can set up and remove easily so we aren't on the floor. Just an air mattress on it most likely. Current truck is a 17 Ram 1500 with a 5.7. I pulled the 24' trailer about 25k miles with it and it did well. The...

Throne for the Queen - Enclosed Trailer Build

After buying a used trailer (circa 2001) and nuking some axles bearings, I sold it. I sold it with the intent of getting a new trailer before the next season. Thus, the queen needed a new throne. I compared pricing and a fuckillion reviews before deciding to save some cash and get a...

In Tank Methanol & Big power?

Yes, especially in DI due to its latent heat capacity. The effective octane value is NOT the same in PI. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

In Tank Methanol & Big power?

Suspension by the Numbers - Car Setup How To

Bump stops should only be included if/when you are using them as a main spring - or more so for when you do use them. That will help you understand the behavior for when they are utilized. It's a missed aspect, most people just toss them in without regard for their rate, let alone when they...

    EPIC CENTRAL NATOR MEET - SEPT 28-OCT 1, 2018 - SPEEDWAY, IN

If you have an old one that you won't use again, yes. I'll be pressing out the bushings and doing some other fun stuff with them. Mazda 6 front suspension is interchangeable with the MS6, yes. The rear lowers are different due to different subframes and knuckles. The rear upper is the same.

    EPIC CENTRAL NATOR MEET - SEPT 28-OCT 1, 2018 - SPEEDWAY, IN

Anyone have a set of MS6 front upper control arms they don't need anymore? I need to get some measurements. If you can bring them to Indy this weekend for me to borrow, that would be fantastic :D

Since the old clutch is out and a temp is in place, just send the entire clutch assembly back to them for inspection.

    Road racing setup help

The problem with projecting onto a wall or on the ground is that it doesn't account for change in track width (scrub) through the vertical range of the wheel assembly. Using the laser line and mirror trick eliminates that issue :) Bump steer is purely a function of the suspension geometry...
