Does this look like the right bushing? Seems like the middle part wouldn't be wide enough for the edges to pop out once it got in place. I'm having hell pushing it in there. It just flares out and I'm scared to press it anymore.

Just to update this thread. I've been using that fuel rail sensor for a year now daily driving the car with no issues.

Sorry I ordered one before I saw your post Code. I took a chance on a $25 amazon one and so far its been working fine. Time will tell though. This is the one I got if anyone is interested.

It does seem to be plugged in all the way. I unplugged it and plugged it back in and heard the click. Starting to rain now so i cant check the wires thoroughly but nothing stood out to me just looking with a flashlight. Will check more in depth when the weather clears up.
