Need to get exact mileage but its likely less than 2000 miles on this oil. 5w-30 Restore and Protect
Note I've had this car since new and I'm at 170+k miles. Oil changes every 3-5k miles. Always Mobile 1 in the past.
Had a strange effect from this oil.
Never had so much oil in my catch can...
I put the OEM bar on in the meantime (no welds to break!). Whatever bump broke the bar also stripped the threads off of both endlinks...which made everything clunk like crazy.
Supposedly the JBR part has a warranty...I even have the original email/receipt. Hopefully he will honor it.
I wanna...
I took the bumper off and tried to straighten the AC condenser fins.
It was more or less a failure.
The fins are so thin and incredibly delicate that they would just break with the slightest pressure. I tried a razor blade and then ended up with a tiny pointed tool. Some just had to be torn...
Kinda forgot to take a before... Sorry. Only an after rinsing pic.
Lots of black water after rinsing. It's quite caustic. Need to be careful to not breath the aerosolized cleaner.
170k miles
I don't thinks his idea is a bad one but I doubt it makes much difference because the clip doesnt hang down that much and if the bevelled edge helps center it what difference does it make which way the clip is oriented?
I just saw these videos for the first time now. Not sure why I didn't get an email saying you posted. I will check mine this weekend and send a video.
Thing is I also have an aftermarket CV axle on that side. I suspected the OEM unit with 160k miles on it was making some noises on hard turns...
Yes it requires them or they will get full of crap and fail prematurely.
Which brand CV axles? Reputable?
how far does passenger CV go into what? The trans? Can you show a pic of what youre referring to?
