MS3 and Fost is very identical suspension. - Rear end is redesigned geometry by some guy from lotus
I know there is room for improvement. The car is my DD, i'm not about to run 800lb sprint rates to make it track faster, just comparing the chassis, is all.... AWD would solve my gripe with the...
Maybe not? Bilstien B8's/H&R Hotchkis RSB, Prothane sway bar bushings front, white-line front LCA. Powerflex bushings in rear knuckles.
I'm on 18x8 wheels on oem Goodyear eagle (Oem FoST tires) tires which admittedly are not winning any awards, BUTTTTT apples to apples the focus still feels...
Mostly hands on experience. AutoX both cars, the FoST, is much more refined and easier to drive. Even on the street i can feel it on the freeway, spirited driving.
Yes, SWAS sucks. First mod i did :)
That's all relieve to the track, right? I have autoX'ed faster times than a Z06, Miata's...
Well ~25k doesn't get you much today. Speed3 was a bargin.
Meh. i guess what are you comparing it too? Undeersteering pig even with a giant sway bar and full suspension. Whatever Ford did to the rear suspension on the ST makes that cars rear end kick, it's a far superior chassis because of it...
I have the quik latches on my other car, they are super awesome!
My only reccomendation is to make sure you pick the correct lb springs for the bumper.... They can get a little flappy on high speeds otherwise.
My Front Moogs sucked. The grease fittings are too big and hit the inner part of the car.
Im running a larger RSB and haven't had issues with my Mevotech in the rear.
It is the A/C Compressor clutch. I drove it today and on the way home. THE WORST smelling burnt clutch of all time.
Pop the hood and i can see the pulley (With A/C On) doing things... It's not supposed to do lol
Power steering pump is loud AS F today. Just started. Fluid is topped off, no leaks or recent issues. Not 100% certain it is for sure the pump, but it certainly sounds it. Bearingy whiney sounds, perhaps a idler pulley? No change with a/c on or off so i write off that.
Car is mostly stock at 70k...
Flow won't change much don't think it's a big deal. It ballooning that much is pretty scary, and figure it doing that how many times through wot over time probably wears the silicone.
