so i got everything installed, but i don't know where i need to make adjustments at to fix the shifting, it kicks its self out of 2nd gear and it seems i some how changed how the shifter shaft sits lol did you have any issues like this when you installed it? I'm assuming its the adjustments at...
Thank god, i wasnt looking forward to doing that, if it was at my shop and i was gonna do it there i would pull that cus i have all the tools and stuff to do it, but cars stuck in my garage at home (cable snapped the same day i found this thread haha).
Do you remember what tools you used like...
When installing the cables on the interior side, how much of the dash did you have to take apart, and did you have to remove the heater core? I haven't looked around that area much but from reading the manual its calling for most of that, if it can be worked around that would be great haha.
Welp guess i'm gonna start looking for a fab shop now lol!, i'm guessing the super awsomesauce drawing that you provided is the specs I would need to provide?
it still works with the 57.5 correct or did you have to shorten it?
oh also @Trithemius I'm guessing from what i read we have to have the other bracket the stock ones don't work?
so I'm guessing no kits have been fabbed up yet and its still get cables and stuff and fab it up your self? Only reason I'm asking is my cable is super close to snapping and yea hahah
when I get home from the hanger tonight I'm gonna post up the pics of our repairs, I don't think we are gonna do much more because it feels very solid as it is now.
The reason why a upgraded bracket hasn't been made is because we just kinda shrug it off weld it up and leave it alone from what I've noticed and apparently it will take a miracle to get Mazda to do anything about it so yea
Also on another note when I get home from the hanger tonight I'm gonna...

If you have upgraded your clutch or are thinking about upgrading your clutch this post is a must read!
Ok so if you have upgraded your clutch it really is a good idea to go check your clutch pedal and make sure that its not cracking. I recommend taking the whole clutch pedal assembly out so you...

I finally did this to mine a few months ago and its a really good mod to do, makes work on the car so much easier to pop a couple clips and it looks so much better then the rubber bands
Ok well I might as well start a build diary since I’m starting to go more bonkers with the car and I’m finally back in the united states and getting more active with the Mazda community again. Ok so where to begin……A LONG TIME AGO IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY…………..well more like 100 miles or so...
