Hi guys, my stock replacement luk clutch is slipping after 16k miles on the six. i have not dyno'd the car but i'm maxed on power on 93 octane with a CS4 turbo and built motor.

Hi guys, finally ran into a problem with my speed 6 it was tuned for 26psi of boost and now i hit around 11-12. i went through the basic troubleshooting.
boost leak tested intercooler pipe off of turbo capped the end off the throttle body. found a pretty good size leak i was excited! tightened...
thanks guys.. i did hear back from Will he suggested methanol injection would be best. the ~450whp was just a guess. if not doable. then just max out CST4 :)

your not going to make 450whp on a stock turbo and that small intake. next concern would be the health of the block. my goal was around 350whp.. now i want to make more. i'm limited by fuel currently. my car is a daily though
if the engine is stock i'll put money on the oil rings being carboned up. i was using a quart in 500 miles or so.. compression was good. pulled engine apart and the oil control and expander rings were all gummed up
i'm running a 21mm top and 24mm 2nd ring gap. this is mostly for the amount of boost you want to run this setup is good for over 21psi 3k on the motor i just rebuilt not a drop of oil consumption. she's at 24psi currently. hoping to up it shortly i'm using Mahle 4032 pistons with manley h beam...
if you are breaking down the motor... especially with a rod knock, you might as well have the entire block machined. there are way too many tools needed to check yourself. in the machining process you will know if you need bigger pistons or not.
i need these for mine, it runs and now it's quick enough to realize the brakes could use some work. too bad i just dropped a bunch of $$ on a forged engine and other parts
i just went through this with a CX racing intercooler. i changed the core for a Treadstone TR8 and now my BAT's are better. methanol install this weekend.
i have the 2.5" magnaflow cat back with a 3" CPE downpipe. the catback was on the car when i bought it. i added the downpipe. i bought a gasket from NAPA that worked if i elongated one bolt hole. walker #31574
