well the car feels amazing. it dosnt buck super hard when i let off the throttle anymore it seems like driveability in general is just alltogether smoother in every way. the power feels EXTREMELY linear and it feels like it just pulls hard all the way up now. funny thing though my recirculation...
Yeah to my knowledge over 180k and i checked thoroughly for boost leaks before i put the intake back on just to cover all bases before i started it for the first time with the new injectors. But ill check again. I had it tuned with the bad injectors and was fighting a slightly lean at WOT issue...

So when the fuel trims “settle” isnt LTFT supposed to be less than +\- 10%? Cuz right now my LTFT IS 20.88% and STFT IS 7.44%. And thanks I appreciate it. Im very elated after all the work it took to figure this out and I really appreciate everyone who has helped me figure it out.
Yeah he has his own equipment and owns a shop. He does them in batches of 10 Or so at a time. It was the injector. The car is running like a champ. It has never felt this good in the 2 years i have owned it. It feels incredible now. I think im going to need a retune however because its pulling...
As a matter of fact i found a shop near me who actually refurbishes injectors/ replaces the “filters” and all seals in them, ultrasonic cleans them and flow tests them after and they come with a 6 month warranty and he charges $215 a set if you turn in your cores. And he has some sets already...
Okay sooooo interesting development here.
I took the manifold off put the old fuel rail pressure sensor back in
took all the injectors out and tested them to see if they “click” when i put power to them and put them back in the car in a random order.
I put everything back together and it...
Okay I’ve confirmed that cyl 3 is absolutely dead and its not just a fuel pressure issue causing some anomaly. I ran the car and unplugged each coil with the car running and when i unplug 1,2,and 4 the idle dropps. When i unplug 3 absolutely nothing happens. Im going to do a leak-down test on...
400 is the lowest value i have on my multimeter unfortunatly i think i have another one somewhere that may have a lower value setting ill check. I checked by putting the negative to ground and positive to the positive wire from the harness. But now you say that i realize i need to check between...
Okay i did the tests. The wires show 0 resistance.
I set the multimeter to read 400 ohms and when i touch to both ends it will show .003 and fall to 0
koeo one wire shows 11.81v the other wire i assume is a ground shows 0 volts. This is using the ground that is connected to the chassis...
Oh wow. Okay well that makes alot more sense then. Ill check that voltage in the AM. Now if there really is 0 volts going to it would that be a relay failure or spill valve failure?
Im sorry if i caused confusion with my choice of words. Set the AP to monitor “HPFP sensor voltage” it shows 0 volts. Does this mean voltage to the fuel rail sensor or is this referring to the spill valve voltage? I may be misunderstanding that.
Interesting development. I havent had time to do anything with the car because i went to school and went straight to work and worked till 1am and then woke up went to school and now i have to go back to work in 2 hours after i get my kids taken care of. But i did try and see if it would run...
