So in theory, if we could've replaced the actuator with the updated revision before the chain began to stretch, we wouldn't have to replace all the other components?
Edit for clarity: I'm going to replace all components even though they're in good shape visually, it's just curiosity at this point.
So basically even a tiny groove in one spot on the cover indicates a worn actuator? Chain is tight at TDC. I'll probably do it as a precaution but I'm more curious than anything.
